He fought as good a fight as he could have. Rip Anto  Feels like a good few years since diagnosed.

I was reading there it was 9 years since his diagnosis. Most live between 1-5 years after diagnosis. RIP Anto.

Sad to hear that. Him and Saint were both  really likeable characters. Great viewing on Saturday mornings. The two of them gone with about 6 months of each other.

Unbelievable  striker in his heyday it seems.

Watched a great documentary on Jimmy, BT Sport.  Hard to imagine how great a striker he was.  Certainly the best in England through most of the 60s if not Europe.Idolised by Chelsea and Spurs fans.  Hit the bottle hard and later transformed himself into a tv great - a very funny man and a great entertainer. Didn't mince his words either when it came to his views on certain players.

Doddie Weir has it. One of the problems is that it doesn't attract much money for research compared to cancer or heart disease.
