That win for Kerry today was the biggest Munster SFC final win since Kerry beat Clare by 23 points in 1919.

Cork shouldn't be in the championship. Tier 2 or 3 for them.

When Leitrim and Sligo counties with two of the smallest populations lost by a simliar margin to Mayo the outcry from the national media and pundits was embarrassing, humiliation, restructure the championship now before the sky falls in but Cork with one of the biggest populations suffer the same fate to Kerry yesterday and score just two points in the 2nd half it was mostly silence while the media and pundits used their time to talk up Kerry. Double standards much?

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Jazes. That Cork outfit are the worst Cork side since...............well, last year's.

Imagine losing by 22 pts and D. Clifford only scores 1pt (fair play to his man)

How can the manager not have resigned as soon as the ref blew his whistle? Does he think he is the man to rediscover 'Corkness'

Rossfan

Last year's Cork bet Kerry. ;)
If 'twas horse racing there'd be a "steward's enquiry"
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Probably because judging a teams form across a period of time as opposed to basing it on one single performance is a truer measure of a counties standing. That is what the League system produces - a gauge as to what level a team is really at. By any measure, Sligo and Leitrim would both be considerably weaker than Cork. A result like yesterday would leave you questioning the current status of Cork football alright but should have absolutely no influence on whether to restructure the championships.

Cork seem to have sorted out their underage teams at least.

Indeed...a pair of one-point wins over the arch enemy should do wonders for those squads.  Stopped the 9 in a row Munster Minor titles bid for Kerry tonight.

Cork have a fair few dual guys in both minor and U20 panels...always interesting to see how many opt for the hurling only, as that is considered far superior by all in Cork, especially the County Board.

FT in the Munster Minor football final Cork 1-17 Limerick 0-13.  Strong finish to the game by Cork as Limerick led 0-13 to 1-9 with 7 minutes to play.

When was the last time anyone played on both senior panels at the same time?
