1. It's OK lad, you'll get laid eventually.

2. The big bang (not related to (1).

3. Stay on your line, Paddy Cullen.

I hope I'm wrong but hearing that we've a long line of injured players at the minute including Rodgers, Conor Doc, and mcevoy. Big blow if that is correct. Will need everyone to win in Galway.

Quote from: Rossfan on May 14, 2024, 02:29:17 PMYou mean not providing free entertainment to casual armchair followers of gaelic games ?
No I mean there's elderly people, gave their life to GAA, not well enough to go to games that can't afford to pay and families can't afford it or to take crowd kids to a local pub.

What size do you think that very specific demographic is?
I don't known. Even a few is too many.

Is it really though?
Not to you obviously

I don't believe there is a significant cohort who as you say:

1) Are elderly
2) Gave their life to the GAA
3) Are too sick to go to games
4) Cannot afford to go to a game
5) Family cannot afford to buy them a ticket
6) Family will not take them to the pub to see it.

This is the sentimental nonsense Jarlath Burns was talking about.
There you go... I'm alrite fuc u Jack... as for Jarlath Burns he's part of that corporate mindset likes to make grand speeches in the Hogan Stand and tell us what a great club man he is, but dismisses the disenfranchised grassroots when he's challenged..

Quote from: burdizzo on May 14, 2024, 12:14:15 PMYeah, exactly. When are the Guards and politicians going to stop harassing local populations by forcibly planting hundreds of unvetted men from completely different cultures into peaceful communities?

Under the current laws (cause whether you like that or not, that's the way its meant to be, until its changed)

Unvetted person comes to Ireland and seeks asylum, under the current system how should that be done?

If they are vetted and approved, are you ok with that?  even though they are from different cultures? Or is it just different cultures that have you up in arms (literally) ?

Must have missed this question I asked earlier burdizzo

Oh. Most people don't answer my questions, either. I'd actually forgotten.

Yes, it is almost impossible to properly vet people, so most will be 'unvetted'. Given that, I think the rate of enforced deportations should be much higher. That is absolutely possible under the current laws.

What do you mean by "up in arms (literally)", referring to me, by the way?

There should be a option with buying tickets on the day for games which are not sell outs. GAA doing the banks job for them, trying to have a moneyless society [Unless u go to the chinese).Had got a few tickets for people who now can't go. In old times it would been pay at the gate and not lose money on tickets which can't be refunded.

Go back and have a word with yourself- What would you say?

- you can do anything you want to , if you put your  mind to it

To witness a great/infamous event, be it your own or other event (give reasons)

- my own county winning the All Ireland  (no reason needed)

To change something, but beyond your DOB and reasons

- send a  few bags of bibs and footballs to Saipan  well in advance of  Irish team arriving. I do believe Ireland could have reached  the 2002 final had Keane been there
