It's actually beyond "we have a load of injuries" now. Klopp can't get a performance out of them. Unbelievably awful title defence. Be interesting to see if Klopp survives this.

You try too hard.

The thing is with Klopp (IMO) that he seems so wedded to this particular style of play that he either isn't interested in change or can't change.
Teams have cottoned into attacking Liverpool directly in the spaces left behind by TAA and Robertson, moreso TAA, heck they're even talking about it in the interviews after games, so it's no real surprise.
Maybe with Henderson in midfield and VVD in defence they were able to cover these areas but not now so why stick to the same gameplan??

Can someone tell me why we are constantly playing a higher line now than last season when we had better defenders. Teams are constantly getting in behind, couple that with slower build up going forward we always arrive at the box starring at a packed defense, by this stage most teams have us sussed. Some star players like Firmino have been brutal this season and start regardless. It's natural to question Klopp when things have gone this pear shaped as it's down to more than injuries when we come from the best team in Europe to fighting for a top ten in PL and that's in league where Man U are lying second.

Kabak injured, and no this isn't a joke. He's a doubt for the weekend.

He needs to put Fabinho back in midfield. Let him sit and protect Phillips and Davies at the weekend. Or at least try it. They're losing anyway.

Then, push Thiago (or Jones if you prefer) up the field, along with Keita. I'm sure Winaldjum needs a rest at this point and they need someone to run at Fulham through the centre and try to open up some space.

Then drop either Firmino or Mane for Jota. At least he was trying to slip into the gaps when he came on last night.

A change of shape wouldn't go amiss either.

Agree in theory j70 but read above ye. If Kabaks injured i dunno. Davies hasnt made bench last 2 games so possible injury there. Philips must be injured as he didnt make bench. Its actually laughable at this stage

Edit - klopp just said nat and davies shoukd be ok for weekend.

8 0 victory incoming (jibbajabbas opinion not klopps)

Forgot to ask, but is it now OK to put your hands on the neck and face of a player?

Obviously the return of Van Dijk and Gomez will be massive, but it's hard to see how things will dramatically improve next season, unless there's an injection of fresh faces challenging strongly for a first team place.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Gomez and Van Dijk played in the 7-2 loss to Villa.

That's right and they played a high line which they where not doing last season. Can't get my head round this

I don't know where to start on that Michael Owen post.

Good grief.

On Klopp, not a chance he gets sacked. But there is every chance he walks. He walked at Dortmund when things went downhill. He's got form for it. Not too dissimilar time frames really.

Would hope not.

At Dortmund, he suffered from his star players leaving.

In this case, its just a freak season with injuries and COVID.

It would be a terrible shame if he didn't hang around, restart next year, and get the chance bring the title back within a year or two.

Is there no one questioning the training? Has it changed this season? There's too many injuries for it to be a freaky season of injuries
