Yesterdays result should be huge inspiration to our lads. Sitting nicely that no one is talking about our side of the draw if we get over monaghan we would be placed lovely in the long grass

Is it safe to assume that Matthew and Dan are being rest and have not left the panel?

Does anyone know how we are injury wise ahead of sunday?

Having watched the game yesterday, i think we are better than both armagh and tyrone i would not be worried drawing them

We havent won a game in Ulster since the shootout in 2023 so hopefully we get a good performance on Sat as we should be winning easy

Dissapointing end to the league, the game in ardee did us

Shame as on a bigger pitch in newbridge louth conded 25 pointa, but thats just how it goes

We were in this position in 2022 and kicked on hopefully can do the same, it really would be a disaster if we do not make an ulster final then who knows

Anyone know what way injuries are fixed for saturday?

Killian Conlon said on derry gales that clucky and mcevoy could play?

Will be a hostile environment on saturday but we should have too much for them

Lads yesterday was our best performance since Dublin League final, played the first half brilliantly that was an incredible wind. Complete performance couldnt say anyone didnt do well even the subs who came on.

Promotion in our hands and its hard to see us not getting to an ulster final, lets push on, get behind this team and hopefully we are in for a long summer

Feeling confident ahead of sunday, think we have got our mojo back, if we beat cork i feel we are in for a long summer, momentum will keep rolling

Great to see big dan and McEvoy on the return too

That was a good team we put out last week and Glass, Clucky, Higgins, McEvoy, Murray all didnt play , i think we are finally getting a bit of depth

Hard to gauge where we are at

Players looked very very rusty basic mistakes cost us dearly, 3 balls were kicked in and dropped possession, 3v3 breach, would say that was as bad as any of the losses we had last year, and goal was very fortunate

Then in saying that id say Meath wont play much better and we only lost by 3 including the self inflicted breach

We really need to cut out the sloppiness and get up for this game on Saturday night

We just need a win to get the ball rolling and there would be no better way than beating our neighbours on Saturday night

Lets all get behind the team and kickstart our season

realistically we still have top class players and not getting promoted should be seen as a failure, we really shouldn't be getting beat on Saturday

We will need to run up the score tonight as top of the table will be whoever beats antrim by more and we probably want more games than just 1 before the league starts

Very strong Donegal team for tomorrow, I think 12 played in the all Ireland final and Roarty on the bench

Sad to hear mcfaul has retired, would like to see it officially announced to get proper praise, he has played consistently for Derry since his debut in 2012, Same as Emmet Bradley didn't get the proper plaudits he deserved when he retired, these lads played in D4 when times weren't good a stuck it out, leaving when Derry football is seriously healthy

A Derry legend

We have our two toughest games to begin with possibly without Shand and Rogers

Promotion though should be non negotiable , we need to remember that 2 years ago we were beating everyone at ease in D1. We need to get that confidence back and if we have  no injuries we could be in for a long summer
