In fairness I think he saw a video of young ones running out of the shop with bread... once he saw the digger destroying the place and the safe he took the tweet down.

He made a mistake and then took it down. Not sure why people are getting so worked up it's not like he destroyed the Lidl himself!

Mental stuff though how does that kind of thing happen who has the idea for it and who says yeah let's do that?

You can hardly encourage low-level theft but then disown it when it gets a bit out to control.
It's like saying it's grand to give the wife a few slaps, but killing her is wrong.

And what about the stupid yoke who went swimming in the sea in Dublin today and had to be rescued.
Is there any end to human stupidity?

Does Ireland have a higher percentage of attention seekers than the rest of the world?

By that token, couldn't a single body covering both Ireland and Britain do the same job?

Presumably, the same agency could do all of Europe too.

The point is that the sea does affect weather and if someone gets some experience forecasting Donegal then those skills would be helpful in Tyrone also.

Probably not.
Albert Einstein said only 2 things were infinite. The universe and hüman stupidity. But he wasn't sure about the universe.

What started as people "stealing crates of beer" after some members of the public realised an entrance in Lidl in Fortunestown, Tallaght, was left open has escalated to being brought down by a JCB.

To be fair, the wife was in the garden feeding birds and i was able to sneak an extra Custard Cream outta the larder before she made it back through the snow. Not on the same scale as the Lidl thing but madness all the same.

"In fairness"? Once again he put the mouth into action before engaging the brain. Attention seekers tend to do that

Don't fool yourself your wife will have noticed it and logged it in the bad boy file. It will sit there to the next time your mention she forgot to wash your favourite boxer shorts. This could be two years from now but then BANG the whole thing will re-surface and she will express her incomprehension of such a shameless and self centred betrayal. It hasn't gone away you know.

Cars burned out in Tallaght too. Ones that had been abandoned.
