Apart from some very light flurries on Saturday, it's been at least 10 days of continuous dry weather around here and the forecast I have gives it to remain dry until Tuesday at least. Nice to have a prolonged dry spell of weather for a change. Certainly if the smell of silage is anything to go by, farmers are taking advantage anyway.

Where are you that your getting this smell of silage??  It will be the start of May before we get that anything like that round our way.  Now as for the smell of slurry, well that's a different story!!

QuoteI got the two mixed up

Silage goes in the aperture on the left, slurry comes out the aperture on the right.

I've relations from Queensland currently over here atm. Ironically they'll probably love it!

A good brisk walk round the Gortin Glens would be the ticket tomorrow!

Couldnt be any worse than cookstown yesterday, that was brutal, snow all fell in about a 5mile square area and no where else. it was like driving into the twilight zone.

GJL

I had a man in from Draperstown yesterday who claims to have had 5 inches of snow yesterday morning!

Don't think I have witnessed snow this intense before, absolute white out here in Loughmacrory. If this keeps up the way it has been forecast there will be some accumulation.
