Get the water on it after the sun goes down, no water bans on as far as I know!

City hall grounds is something else these last few days!

I'm waiting to sow the garden out. Holding off til there's rain on the way, but may as well enjoy it when it's here. We complain enough about not getting it!!
Youd be better holding out until the end of the season if you can. Less chance of weeds coming up with the grass

Yeah I know. But the longer I have no grass, the longer i hear about having no grass.  :-\
Good point well made
Careful now

Any sign of Hector?

Poor enough up the north coast here. V Windy and rainy

Rain will keep the dust down😜

Yip! Least the turf is home dry lol ;)

Turf home already?

Every turf bank and mountain in Antrim is cleared up and all.. Great drying the year.

You may go for the second cut.... use it to offset a cold winter or bad drying year

5 hours of machine cutting is enough for any man to work!

5 hours. Are you blacksmith?

I like my stove well stocked and a back boiler in the house it always helps.

According to Met Eireann, yesterday's max temp of 32.0C recorded at Shannon Airport is the highest JUNE temperature since 1976, when Boora in Co. Offaly recorded 32.5C.

local news down here reporting hundreds of homes just levelled....not sure why they were not built to the same code as south florida. looks like a lot of timber frame....it was the same category as Irene last year but looks to be much more damage - God help them

Surprised there isn't more discussion on Storm Lorenzo seeing George Lee is predicting doomsday scenarios. His voice is great at it too.
