Genuinely he is my favourite Liverpool player at the moment.

Hard to tell are we really good tonight or are Porto just shite. A bit of both I reckon.

To be fair I donít think it was a case of Liverpool not taking Brentford seriously, we had enough chances to win that game easily but Brentford attacked Liverpool at every opportunity and we couldnít handle them at times. Some very dodgy defending also.
Salah should have wrapped it up with a shocker of a miss.
Fair play to Brentford though great team to watch.
Liverpool still top though so not all bad

General discussion / Re: New Car Advice
« on: September 25, 2021, 09:59:58 AM »
Iím gonna change the car in a few weeks but havenít decided what to get. I like those new Hyundai Tucsonís but theyíre only available in petrol. Iím also going to have a look at one of the new type Ford Kugas and while I like the Seat Alteca thereís very few of them about. My issue is that I donít know what the future will hold for diesel cars in 4 years time when Iím changing again. Any advice??

If you like the Ateca, take a look at the Skoda or Karoq or the Tiguan too. They're 95% the same car. Bought a Karoq in June as our first family car and I'm very happy with it.

Over here, obviously SEAT is incredibly popular, but it seems like half the cars on the road these days, and an even larger proportions of new ones, are crossover SUVs.
My last couple of cars have been SUVs and Iím thinking of going back to something like an estate for my next car. Like you say nearly all cars on the roads nowadays are SUV crossover type cars and Iím kind of bored with them now. In reality they arenít any more practical than the smaller hatchbacks they are all based on and apart from the fact you sit higher up there isnít really any advantage in having one.
I like the look of the Corolla Sports Touring Hybrid or the new Octavia Estate. Far more practical for a lot less money than an SUV.

]the beautiful village of Killen ?

Played numerous times against Killen, on the pitch behind the pub. Nice wee set up but the telephone wires going over the pitch were a pain in the arse...would hit them at least 5 times a game. The crowd on the side were also a delight ::)
Maybe you should have played the ball on the ground instead of hoofing it every time it came near you 😜

Hope it goes well for young Bradley, he has a lot of potential. Gordan has been fairly talked up this week!

Bradley gave away a penalty but Kelleher bailed him out. Bradley looked ok up to that point.

Apart from the pen, thought he had a very tidy game.

Bit of a snoozefest but another 3 nil win
Stephen Kenny in the crowd.. maybe heís seen enough to ask Bradley to switch allegiancesÖ

What a brilliantly bonkers game of football that was.
Great stuff.

Way better than the 3 to 5 nil it should have been.
Yes and No. Fantastic game to watch especially if you were a neutral but as a fan itís kind of worrying that we are missing loads of chances, and while itís great the chances are being created I would rather that game had of been wrapped up by half time last night like it should have been. Leeds game was the same, we should have won that game by 5 or 6. Maybe Iím being harsh but against better teams theyíll need to be taking those chances.
