Started a French show called The Bureau. It is about the French secret service and it is excellent so far. It's been mentioned in here a few times over the years I think.

Quote from: nrico2006 on November 16, 2025, 02:05:05 AMProbably not be a third. Eubank is dead at that weight thoug and being 36 isnt helping him either.

It is pointless enough for Eubank to try fight as drained like that. Jesus it must be brutal going in completely starved and then asked to fight. Money talks. That last fight would have took so much out of him. Benn looked good but he'll face some proper good fighters at 147!

Quote from: thewobbler on November 06, 2025, 11:08:10 AMI happened across a wonderful little town last year called Siegnosse Le Penon (Le Penon is the coastal area of the bigger town down the road called Siegnosse.

One of the best beaches I've ever stood on. All low rise blocks rather than high rise hotels. Extremely bike and pedestrian friendly; you can walk for miles without encountering any real incline. A really nice promenade with a mix of restaurants and takeaways. Pretty much only French people in town. And a handy run from Biarritz airport. Eating and drinking a little more expensive than here.

Sounds exactly what I am looking for! If you can remember the name of the place you rented stick it in here. Will definitely check that out. The Provence area and Avion sounds lovely too.

Looking at holidays for next year. Will have a 14 month old in tow this time! Looking at South of France and my god it's got ridiculously expensive! Had then thought about the Alps or Switzerland and stay in a ski chalet which are usually a little cheaper as it's their off season and they're expensive now too ffs. Just want something chilled out and maybe a town to dander about the early evening before the wee man goes to bed! If he is on his feet at that stage I'll end up with a man marking job for the week. Any recommendations or ideas?

Brendy had to go but f**k me what a load of shite from Desmond! The biscuit tin mentality has existed way before Brendy was around! This disaster has been a build up of years and years of the board not investing in the team/facilities/managers and youth structures. Rodgers has called them out and they don't like it.

If this isn't the kick up the hole they need then I don't know what will work. Brendan needs to go as well. ASAP. Can't have hearts winning the league ffs.

Dundee could have won by more too. I don't even care anymore. The whole thing is just rotten. £100 million in the bank and they're happy to put that team out on the pitch every week. I can't remember a team as bad as this.

What a club Dunloy are! It's great to see them winning a championship after watching the quality of underage teams they constantly put out.

Watched it myself. Pogacar is on a different level.

But can we get back to talking about Lavey sorry St Brigids

Ryan has been in Dunloy since he was 14 when he played hurling only. When he left minor he decided himself to stay at the club.

Aodhan came to play hurling at underage, like his younger brother James, as Ballymena didn't offer it to them at the time. They had a fall out with their own club and it ended up in them deciding to make a permanent transfer.

I dont remember when James started to play for us. Hes been there forever it seems. He lives in Dunloy as well i think?

I dont see these lads as blow ins

Conor Kinsella& Deaglan Smith have been in Dunloy since they were kids when their families moved from Belfast, that isnt seen as being a blow in

No fall out and Aodhan didnt play a minute of underage for Dunloy
Rasharkin and Dunloy are next door neighbours. Id say half of Rasharkins members have a Dunloy postcode. He moved in 2022 or 2023..hardly forever?

Moving from Belfast to Dunloy is a different matter, similar to these "professionals" moving into south belfast and joining the local club??

Are Bredagh and Carryduff the most hated clubs in Co Down out of curiosity?

Not evidently as much as St Brigids are in Antrim..

St Brigids weren't always unlikeable. I never had many issues with them growing up and loved playing them at the rugby ground! Some feed put on after the games  ;D  But the past number of years they are an unlikeable crowd! Was delighted to see Dunloy beat them. They've some fantastic underage players coming through so it will be interesting to see if they make it to senior with all the blow ins they have.

As for us this year and the soap opera around the management! The less said the better! Couldn't wait for the season to end.
