Maybe only 3 teams can win it anyway. Usually teams on the fringe of Division 2.

If counties are checking out for the Tailteann, it's not a good omen for the competition's future.
Savage result for Carlow.
Pity it wasn't televised!

Quote from: Jim Bob on December 17, 2023, 05:33:12 PMJoe not impressed with JP in his independent article this morning.
Joe is a socialist now, so isn't allowed to be impressed.
Quote from: seafoid on December 17, 2023, 12:21:26 PMHow much has he spent on the Limerick hurlers?
He gifted the county board millions to finish the Gaelic Grounds. He gave every player 100k when they won the All Ireland in 2017. Probably throws about a million a year into the running costs as well.

St Thomas's win yesterday will be a great fill up for Galway hurling. They need to close the deal now in the final.
Quote from: johnnycool on December 14, 2023, 11:39:13 AMJP and Noreen open the wallets in a big way!

He is eroding one of Limerick's big advantages a little bit.
Must be very confident they won't be caught!

Ideally JP would stay in Ireland and pay his taxes, but then the government would just blow it on more HSE wastage and Social Welfare payments.
At least this way the money goes to an organisation that promotes health and wellbeing.

I have watched (and enjoyed) Hijack.  Is there anything else worth watching on the platform?
Bad Sisters maybe.

Conor Whelan is nailed on. After that it's not looking good for Galway.

Farrell, proving once again that he can't tackle - shoulder to head.
Can't tackle? Or just a thug who tries to take opponents out with cheap head shots?

I had a feeling that Cork were going to sneak it in 2013 even if O'Dwyer had stayed on the field.
Still it was a year that any of the unfancied counties could have won it because Tipp and Kilkenny were in disarray.

I'd say Osgur Breathnach and many others might just have a little problem with that.

Why, was he a junkie causing a nuisance on Talbot Street?

No team from the past of present could live with how Limerick played in the last 45 minutes against Galway.
