QuoteFans will need a subscription to watch the finals of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League after TNT Sports decided against making them free-to-air. It will be the first time since the Champions League was launched in 1992 that supporters have had to pay to watch it

A good Tielemans goal gives Villa the lead.  2-0 another fine strike right before half time, Buendia.
Prince William fairly has Villa purring this year.

Quote from: Puckoon on May 14, 2026, 02:43:13 PMQuiet on here with a major starting.

Really would like to have backed Rose, but this switch to MacLaren irons has not been great for him. He loves to t**ker at the wrong time.

Got 6th in the draft, hoping to get one of Fleetwood or Fitzpatrick.

Think Cam Young might have a great shot this week however.

Would be great to see Rory win them all, but I doubt it will happen.

Ooof
Shit.

Quote from: quit yo jibbajabba on May 12, 2026, 12:15:04 PMFirst Renshaws, now this. Don't know how much more of this I can take

Mornings after this would have been perfect for it!

By time I got up she was Countdown time 😆

Wait did we live together on University street? Do you support Everton and could be found in your rockin chair with a bowl of tomato soup and half a loaf of Ormo white for your breakfast and a can of Tennents?

Lolol no. But I like the sound of this guy we could've been friends

Fifteen to One era also now we're at it
William G. Stewart was the boss. 15-1 was the best quiz going!

Quote from: NAG1 on May 12, 2026, 08:35:44 AMI think we've effectively killed the hurling leagues, teams are showing up and the games I've seen various match-ups have barely been above pre-season friendly level. There is no bite in them at all and while they may be decent for getting squad players games, I see very little else about them that is worthwhile.

I know with the split season this is kind of inevitable but I think its not good longer term for the club game.

Until you put some reason/benefit into it then it will have no intensity to it

Yeah totally agree, it would be interesting to see some new novel ideas of how to incentivise performance across the league. Even without the county players, there is bound to be some way to get the clubs interested in being competitive.

What about an Ulster league? Would tht work? Obviously distance mid-week may be a problem but it'd be interesting and a bit more competitive I think.

Different levels of standard but worth a shot?
There was the Tain Ulster Club League 15 years ago or so.

Wasn't a frequent attender. It was for the unsophisticated palates from Tyrone, Armagh and Derry. I was more of a Dukes man myself.
