Building some kind of Radar would be a start, NASMAS, Patriots, underwater detection maybe even a Frigate. All those things would be too expensive I imagine and take at least 10-15 years to procure. Still you can spend all this money but modern American, Chinese, Russian and British SSBNS are incredibly capable, difficult to detect and unfortunately you are still relying on the Brits to try and shadow any Russian ones.

Most of Derrys injuries were long term unavoidable major recoveries. Likes of Lynch, Murray, CD, have been carrying injuries since Hughes time. Injections seemed to have ticked CD over well enough the other two had cleanup surgeries Murray most recently. Could say McFaul has picked up a lot of injuries the past year or two
