Not a bad commentator like but zero knowledge.

Ger Treacy prob the best.

Anyone want to post out the worst...

Yea that's why he was given the job cos he knows nothing. Wise up seriously. Attacking a man like that !

I think only one of us needs to wise up
It's an opinion. He strikes me as a soccer man who fell into a Gaelic gig
 Could be wrong.

Are coalisland now in big trouble?

Moortown put on a decent show against errigal
Errigal tabled the orange men from the loughshore
Ardboe beat coal island

This is comparing apples to oranges to say the least.
Moortown didn't put on a show at all, having received pity goals towards the end of the match to make the scoreline look more reasonable against half of an errigal team.
Altough I do believe the Coalisland men will be in bother,  knocks on key men such as Quinn.

I've seen Moortowm a couple of times in the flesh this year and they've impressed me. Dungannon were lucky enough to beat them in the latter stages of the league. In the teamtalk show the other night the pundits were saying similar things about Moortown. They'll give the Fianna a decent game.

Yes they are for sure.

I don't think so. A season of beatings would do them no good in the long run.

Quote from: clarshack on October 14, 2023, 05:34:35 PMHave to say I don't think I've ever seen Ardboe take a hiding like that in championship football. Must be their heaviest ever defeat?
Probably an indication that Ardboe remain as far away from the top teams as they ever have been since 1998. Lack of quality forwards will continue to hold them back going forward as well. Kyle Coney and Shea McGuigan are the wrong side of 30 to. No out and out midfielders another issue.
Added to that the lack of a kickout strategy today and the gulf in quality between the two teams was really exposed.

So much for horse being a great coach

The myth about Chrissy McKaigue lost some value today also - shambolic to say the least

What was disappointing was the lack of fight. 10 points down and they sat back and invited Errigal on. It was reminiscent of late era Mickey Harte, setting up to keep the game tight and keeping that philosophy even when it wasn't working.

Was thinking the exact same thing. Gavin devlin is mickey 2.0. Backwards thinking.
