February 03, 2012, 01:17:17 PM
I would use this site for the latest sports news, but what the hell have they done with it?!

It is terrible. What was wrong with the way it was?

General discussion / Motorway Tolls
February 02, 2012, 12:30:17 AM
Heading down to the Kerry Armagh game next weekend, via Dublin.

I'm familar with the M1 toll, but I hear there's an e-toll further down on the M50? What's that all about?

Any info about this e-toll would be much appreciated, along with any other tolls I might come across.

Half a dozen teams could win Division 4.

I'll go for Fermanagh.

Division 3 looks a tough one to predict too.

I'll go for Wexford.

Division 2 is a tough one to call.

I'm going for Tyrone.

GAA Discussion / Predict The 2012 McKenna Cup winners
January 06, 2012, 12:01:46 AM
Just a bit of fun. It's all a bit of a lottery at this time of the year, but who do you fancy to win the competition outright?

I'm going with Donegal.

General discussion / Why 'Northern' Ireland?
November 13, 2011, 05:42:43 PM
I know for alot of people its 'The six counties', 'The North' etc etc, but I've often wondered why the official name 'Northern Ireland' has 'Northern' in it's name rather than North. Other countries that were divided had North as opposed to Northern (Vietnam, Korea etc). I had thought maybe there was some sinister or legal reason as to why it was Northern.  Anyone know the reason for this?

General discussion / Poppies/Emblems on football shirts
November 09, 2011, 03:47:12 PM
Lets say FIFA change the rules and allow countries to put emblems (such as poppies) on their football shirts. What emblem would you like to see on a country's (or club) shirt?

Although the series has drawn sizeable crowds in Ireland, low attendances and seemingly lack of interest in Australia has cast doubt over future series. Should it continue? Have your say.

General discussion / TG4 Player
November 03, 2011, 05:17:00 PM
Does anyone know if I can watch any TG4 program that's been shown, on the TG4 player? There's something I missed the other night and was hoping to watch it on the player.

GAA Discussion / 31 counties supporting Dublin??
September 13, 2011, 12:32:24 AM
I read an interview with ex-Dublin manager Tommy Lyons in today's papers, and he stated that 31 counties will be behind the Dubs on Sunday.

So, everyone from outside Kerry and Dublin...who will you be supporting on Sunday?...

I'm with Kerry.
