Hurling Discussion / Re: Hurling 2026

Todays Cork v Limerick game was a bit of a sham. Only 2 weeks before Corks munster championship starts against Tipp and 3 weeks until they see Limerick again. Cork will have been saving their best for championship and so will Limerick.

Todays game was lost in the opening stages when Limerick got off to a six point to nil start. While Cork got a fortunate goal they never really got into the game and Limerick stayed ahead all the way.

Arsenal losing 0-1 at half time. They look a bit suspect at the back.

1-1 after 90 minutes. It could be penalties again for the Czechs.

The Czechs have the lead. One nil after 20 minutes.

I have a horrible feeling the Czechs are going to beat Denmark making last weeks defeat even more frustrating for Ireland.

Ireland make 3 changes with Scales Egan and Knight coming in for Manning, O'Brien and Taylor.

OGS is the man for the job. United had their chance and blew it.

Just after seeing the non free kick the czechs got to equalise. Sickening.

Disappointing outcome but another good performance away from home against decent Eastern European opposition.

Hopefully the improved performance levels from the last 3 games continues into the next games in the nations league and European qualifiers.

We didn't practice them either according to Halgrimsson. Szmodics might have been a better penalty taker than the two who missed but he was gone off injured.

I knew when they equalised we were doomed. Our best peno takers went first and we ran out of good penalty candidates.

It looks like Ireland got through the last weekend before the playoffs without any new injury worries.

He was a constant on rtes gaa coverage over the years. He had his struggles with heart issues over the years. He will be missed.

There is a large house in Meath to be demolished because it didn't have planning permission. The wife of the couple who owned the house is seemingly not too worried. She said this decision took 20 years in which time the kids are all grown up and moved on.

Surely the state can get their decision made in a timely fashion if indeed there is a decision like this that needs to be made.

Yes it is hard to see Liverpool stringing 2 good performances together. However Galatasaray beat us twice in this competition and also knocked out Juventus.

Liverpool should have won by more. The penalty and Mcallisters goal disallowed for no reason near the end spring to mind.

Terrible penalty from Salah.
