Actually think Donegal are better with him off the bench.
Age catches up with all .

And even Rian / Niall
Cos without a strengthening Armagh are doing nothing this year

Murnin will be 4 or 5 weeks I think reports were. Mackin, Grugan and McElroy both there yesterday but not togged, probably not a million miles away, didn't see McKay and no word of McCambridge, strange one.

Forget about the other 2 for now.
mmckay and mc Cambridge playing yesterday we wouldn't have conceded the goal

Quote from: Captain Obvious on February 18, 2026, 05:28:13 PMWhen weakened Roscommon,Galway teams could score high and beat Armagh then no excuse for Donegal with most of their best players available not to win by a few points to spare this weekend.

A real relegation battle on Armagh hands now and the Dublin game in Croke Park will likely be a key game.
Saw mc Elroy and grugan sitting in stand Sunday hopefully they are fit for Sunday
Need both back but alas neither can play in the full back line which is seriously missing mc Kay and mc Cambridge

was at the game and have to say thought roscommon worked well in the first half, especially ensuring n13 was in space for 2 pointers.
armagh were dreadful in thefirst 35 minutes and very wasteful in the second and all in all felt that Roscommon deserved the victory
people are griping about the ref, he was poor for both sides but didnt cause Armagh to lose save that something has to happen re the kickouts , would say 10 mins wasted in the second half because of delays.
armagh will struggle to get another 2 points unless they get a defence sorted and a kickout strategy that works

Quote from: brokencrossbar1 on February 14, 2026, 01:28:21 PMDefinitely some harsh comments on the performance of kids.

The Abbey were the stronger team and I think the first half of the drawn game was an aberration as opposed to the level that could have been between the teams. DOR said it after the game that last week they played the occasion as opposed to playing their game. Once they settled into things last week they pulled away comfortably and were the better team by a distance.

Mad watching DOR and young Keelan striding around the field like their da's at that age. Frightening when you see a generational follow through like that. From an Armagh perspective there's serious footballers on both teams last night who can push through so the future is bright

What's the Armagh/Down split on the team? Roughly.
Starting lineup on Sunday was 9 Armagh and 6 Down. Dromintee with 6 players in the starting line up
8 armagh
6 down
1 Louth

Agree with posters above, these are young lads in a massive game. Getting stuck into some of them for not performing at that age is a bit much. There can be criticism of the team ok, but to negatively pull apart individual performances a bit much. Dungannon had a great season and produced the best 30 mins of the tournament probably. Just unlucky they came up against a side that over the two games, played very well.

Quote from: RedHand88 on February 09, 2026, 01:44:07 PMThis is a bit of a cult. Comply or we will pull you on it.
Cult... "..a relatively small group of people having beliefs or practices, especially relating to religion, that are regarded by others as strange or sinister or as imposing excessive control over members."
Colm McAlarney, Pascal Canavan, Brendan Devenny, Colm O'Rourke... get some shock to know they're in a cult.
Is very simple, is nothing to comply with. Many/most don't protest or speak up... but using you're GAA membership to promote a company that is endorsing genocide.. of course they'll get called out.

I would argue that the majority of people do not care. They are just trying to get on with their lives. An even bigger majority did not care until a month ago.
I don't disagree with you. Is a lot of "I'm OK fuc you Jack"..
Point is there are many in the GAA who do care and will not stand idly by as our association promotes a business involved in genocide.
If you don't care so be it... however if you promote Allianz in the name of the GAA...
That's fair
Reality is the Gaa is a very broad church which is reflected in people's political persuasion .
I agree that people are entitled to protest regarding Allianz as I accept that people are entitled to the stance that let it be .

Great game thought both teams will have regrets
But draw a fair result
