Over at Swatragh.v Slaughtneil, hardy enough game. Slaughtneil built up a good lead, maybe 0.10 to 0.01 at one point,  before a late Swatragh goal and a pt before halftime. Swatragh must misses 12/13 wides over the game. Slaughtneil kept them at distance 2nd half. Doubt some lads watching WWE summerslam yesterday, big pile up in the 2nd half. Took a few minutes to seperate it. Slaughtneil probably should had a few yellow for high tackles before it. Kept a 7 pt game up to near the end.

Friend up yesterday, has wom multi medals in the past at the Fleadh, wasnt impressed, said Wexford was way better 2yrs ago and a no of previous ones, Said the Fleadh was not really suited to a large city area. Said there was a limited number of places to play, plus some pubs with the speakers on, drowning out music from other nearby musicians. We not mention the transport issues or the £200 per nite hotels.( alot that normal in Belfast. We see if it improves.

A player can be in the square distracting a player or contesting the ball, doesnt have to touch it, to be a square ball, least that the way it was when i played. Not the day or yesterday right enough.

Not overall possession, Mayo full forward line had alot of possession in the scoring areas,Kerry very limited with possession held on to, way out the field!

Clifford scored 1.06 of very limited possession, as Kerry getting cleaned way out the field. He only missed 1 either half from what i rememember, what the Mayo lads missed with 65% possession?

Kerry corner forward standing in the square before the ball kicked in, silly, ball ended up in the net too. When Galway win it last?

Over at Glenullin v Dungiven there, Decent enough first half, Dungiven Keeper let a high one into the net to keep the game 2.07 - 1.06 at half time, First Dungiven goal, a goal line scramble. Keep that gap in the 2nd half, Dungiven totally changed their team 2nd half. Haran, O'Neill,Dillon stood out in the first half anyway.

Has enough,?thats not a reason not to not give someone player of the year lol, tends to be if somebody had a better overall yr. I call it player of July, because they dont seem to base it on the other 11 months. For what it worth, i thought Kilpatrick was the best / top performing in ever game he played, but he not even be on the radar as he out  at a earlier stage.
