Why are lads been played who were playing for University during the week. Nothing like driving players into the ground. Is there a lad on the Donegal panel playing MacRory cup the mor? Dont want hear McGuinness go on about player welfare again, after his rants about no breaks last year.

We def seeing a rerun of the Nazi brownshirts in the 1930's. America turned into a fascist state.

Quote from: trileacman on Today at 12:16:29 AMVery lucky to get a point this evening. Had we lost it we possibly would've needed to beat Derry or Meath to get promotion. Very very early in the year to be playing "winner takes all" matches.

Malachy once again appearing as the emperor without clothes. The "new manager", "team in transition" excuses being rolled out for him again. Lest we forget Donegal were Div 2 and a team in transition when McGuinness came in and with a lot less underage success than us. Since then they're twice Ulster winners and AI finalists.

Still no plan on kickouts, a scatter gun approach to selections and a pretty consistent lack of intensity in our play. With all due respect to the man but the only team operating with the same amount of underage success as ourselves are Kerry. Now underage is not the be all, end all but still it's certainly a big help for any manager.

I suppose I'll have to reserve judgement until the end of the league but to be honest another year in Div 2 would be pretty disastrous for us. The most worrying thing is that our bad performances clearly outnumber our good ones. Bad performances are a lot easier to take when you see clear signs of progress or development. There's nothing of that in MORs Tyrone. Just scattered bits of brilliance, (like Joey Clarkes blocks tonight or Eoin McElholm and Darren McCurry cameos last year,) digging us out of massive holes.

"With all due respect to the man.." 🤣 classic! You have absolutely no respect for him. You spent all last year slagging him off until he took them to the All Ireland semi-final then wound your neck in. As been said, is hard to make head or tail of what you're on about.

Looking at the match stats was 40 kick outs and Derry won 21 and lost 19.

At 9:05 AM CT, as DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault, an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, seen here.

The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted. More details on the armed struggle are forthcoming.

Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect also had 2 magazines and no ID—this looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement.

About 200 rioters arrived at the scene and began to obstruct and assault law enforcement on the scene, crowd control measures were deployed for the safety of the public and law enforcement.

This situation is evolving, and more information is forthcoming.

Blatant lie!

Quote from: ONeill on Today at 12:01:49 AMIt's the 24th of January.

Calm down people.

This team got to the last 4 last year and ran Kerry closer than any side in the prelims, quarters or AI Final.

Indeed, and that was O'Rourke's first season after inheriting a setup which unfortunately was something of a a shambles (and while everything was in something of a flux as everyone adapted to a pretty different game). Reaching an AI SF in such circumstances was a very solid start. Also have to allow for bedding in lots of younger players. Some good things tonight, some other things not so good, but let's see how things pan out over the next few months.
