Another dark day for Laois Hurling is there no end to the hammering that laois underage players both hurling and football are taking we must be the worst underage  County in Ireland

After watching under 20 against Wexford god help us if we need some of these for senior lot of them cant even complete a 4 yard foot pass midfield almost non existant forwards just soloing into traffic full back looked alright

Was in Newbridge Sunday and Carlow Sat evening footballers excellent first half lost midfield battle second half ans lost there way Roche kicked out over sideline 3 time in a row second half scores got from each one lot of Kildare scores came from easy turnovers Kildare transition much quicker than ours short about 4 quality players to compete with big teams and looking at underage results don't know where we will find them.Carlow Saturday evening was dreadful no plan get ball and lash it usually to Carlow man Picky Maher made a big difference when introduced and hauled them level but centre of defence wide opened and Carlow went through it at will hard to see them make the Joe mcDonagh final

Great win yesterday against a poor Offaly team we have a chance next week against Kildare but are up against it especially in Newbridge hurlers have a difficult one against Carlow Saturday

Another bad beating at underage v Louth hopefully seniors can give us something to cheer at the weekend but would not be too hopeful(hope they can gives us at least one win in leinster championship) must be lowest level Laois football has been for years .

Watching college from Mullingar win hogan cup in a thriller there is no reason that a college from Laois can do the same with proper  structures in place

Was talking to a parent of one young lad on under 20 panel he brought his young lad up to Antrim a few weeks ago to play Antrim were beaten by over 20 points had no recognised goalie and he said it was a complete sh**show
