no offence Reillers
Pull hard and early

Reillers

Meh, none taken.  ;) ;)

Seriously though, would it be too much to ask to stay on topic. There's a topic all ready in place where the players are bashed 24/7. Can this not be a topic minus that.

No, no, too much to ask for I'd say.

Agreed the cork lads get enough on the other thread.
Who would you like to see get the job Reillers? Who will the players (young and old) get behind?

I wonder do they even need a manager?? there is enough experience on the team to select from within

The manager should not be a single appointment, I'd go for the three comedians from Cork, Graham, Des and Reillers.

Gut feeling tells me though that the players will get their way and go ahead and appoint Max Clifford to handle affairs.

On a point of order (not that I wish to claim him or anything..) Graham Norton was born in Dublin and lived there for a few years before moving to Cork..

Bud Wiser

Right you are heffo but it said on the web page that he was from Cork

He went to Cork to live though because he said the money was better down there.  Either Dublin or Cork are welcome to him as far as Laois are concerned.

Did you hear what I heard on RTE.  It went to a vote between Considine and Donal O'Grady.

But (as reported on RTE) before the vote was taken the 2008 panel through their spokesman John Gardiner, made a statement that they would prefer if O'Grady was elected.

Considine should do the right thing now, for the sake of Cork hurling and resign immediately because he is in a no win situation.  The arrogance of this shower of white collar hurlers is beyond me.  If Frank Murphy is to be removed from office his last act shoukld have been to suspend the entire 2008 panel for two years and if the CB don't do their job then HQ should do it for them.

It is an absolute disgrace for this shower to undermine John Considine even before he was elected as a caretaker manager.  If Gardiner was as good at marking Eddie Brennan or Henry Shefflin as he is at PR they would not need a manager. Reality is that he is not.
