Just seen an email while checking my junk email folder from BT telling me that from the 1st of August they will be charging £5.00 for the privilege of watching champions league football unless I opt out of this.
This really bugs me about these large companies that instead of asking you do you want a service they charge you for it and its up to you to cancel.
I hate this practice with a passion.

Correct. It was free at the start but this has been all part of their business plan to start charging slowly and steadily. They have now hammered ITV for CL so they aren't gonna give that away for nothing.

Over the bar do u honestly think I would be on here complaining if I didn't know the facts.
What makes it even worse is that our broadband is shit we might get 2MB if we are lucky (don't get me started on that one) so when u go to use BT SPORT it stops and starts.
