Goldmember.

They threw a load  of  money at me to make it. I  couldn't say no. Wasn't  my finest hour.

Ah well, I did  buy that  solid gold toilet like  I wanted with the money. So, every cloud....

Myself,  really.
It took a while to see it, and a lot longer to live with it.  Now, I can own all the f***-ups.  My one little bit of redemption along the way now and then is to be able to try and steer someone away from doing the same things.
That's the bit that's completely killed the craic from the last few posts.
A random few that sprung to mind when I saw the thread.
- The Mona Lisa.  I was expecting 8 x 4, not A4.
- Di f***ing Maria: what a gimp.
- AC Milan in Istanbul.  Say no more.
- owning a bunch of keys.  As a kid, thought that was the essence of power and authority.  Not a disparate selection of headaches.
- several purchases from Temu.  The doll's house scale.
- Coppers, the first time.  Rockfords much better.
- the brakes on my new Duster.  Now I have an old Duster again.
- being this age.  Or any 5 year step back to 15.  Not one 5 year plan came close to matching expectations.
Or maybe I'm just shite at dealing with reality.  See point one.

Wasn't going to go politics, but Sinn Féin.  Switched allegiance 5 or 6 years ago thinking they could at least instigate change for the better.  Naive on my part.  They are one and the same as the others.  Politics is a sham, a masquerade anymore.  All bought, all paid for, the system can't be changed.

+1

You have to say a Corbyn led Labour was an entirely different concept and certainly more in line with my thinking on what Labour represent. Labour now, is just a different iteration of the Tories, and some of those MP's who I expected a lot from when in opposition have since shown themselves as just being more of the same.

Had never watched top gun
Tasty young Tyrone blade comes up to me says take me to bed or lose me forever
I wasn't overly accustomed to being propositioned so bluntly. Froze
She walked away
I suppose the Top Gun but is immaterial tbh
I believe it's a line from it

I've often thought of that busty young lady.
Lived close to me in the halls (before I got kicked out)
The fun we could've had

There!
Melbourne 2002, was in a pub but was planning to meet a mate in another pub who promised me two girls were coming to meet us.
Was chatting to another girl for a couple of hours before I left the pub I was in. Could sense she was up for it and then she leaned in my ear and told me she was a bit of a Nyphomaniac and when was I taking her back home.
Being an innocent lad from a small village in the midlands I wasn't sure what a Nyphomaniac was and it was before the time that you could google it on a smartphone phone,so I panicked and told her I had to leave to meet my mate in another pub..
To top it all off the girls he promised would turn up never turned up.
Anyway that was my lucky escape from a hot Aussie Nyphomaniac..

And then you woke up

Watched Senegal beat France in first game of the 2002 World Cup before a GCSE exam and he had them tormented. It only went down hill after that.
