Sleacht Néill are the only one I would say is a banker you could make an argument on the rest.
Faughanvale, Swatragh and Banagher not good enough based on their 1st round result.
Lavey not tested by F'Vale and might find it hard to step up intensity sufficiently in the 10 day turnaround.
Steelstown had a great start last year then fell away, don't think they can sustain the scooring against a top team.
Bellaghy I just don't trust to put two performances together.
3 into the relegation play offs my guess is Faughanvale to go down. Winning this game might be their best chance to stay up.

Hard to disagree with any of that. Would love to see Steelstown progress but think Rossa will be too strong. Barring meeting Slaughtneil in Round 3 you'd think they'll progress to the QFs again, at least.

On the same subject as above how long would it take for one person to have a contact with each club and get results to put up on Derry socials. Would give teams and competitions so much more exposure

A lot of teams don't put scores up for their own matches so it might be difficult enough. Maybe it isn't possible, but the results and fixtures are on the website, why can they not be stuck up automatically onto the social media sites each morning fixtures for today, results from last night. Would also give LGFA results though not the camogie as they seem to keep their results secret.

I noticed on the team sheet posted on Sunday swa hurlers mustnt have provided the team before the game vs. Coleraine. Playing against a team who only had 17 players. And they won by 35 points. What hope do we have for minor grade.
Club managers are the biggest obstacle in having scorers etc published I'd say. Clubs should be made to provide the info

Tickets are general admission. Which is how it is for the league games, so I'm assuming the stand must be on a first come first served basis.

Allianz league comes under Derry GAA. The Antrim game comes under Ulster GAA. The Meath games comes under GAA. Presume they have different requirements

We have a major rebuild required which needs to happen next day out. It's cliche to say but players here are being picked on reputation. We have zero competition for places. Whoever we play next - and I hope to f*#k it's somebody we can handle - we need to drop some big names. Who I'd go with

Based on current form I don't see how we can start Glass, McGuigan, B Rogers, McKinless or E Doherty. These lads owe us nothing but we need mobility and speed. But we will need them off the bench. We should be building a midfield around Sargent and Rogers and an attack around Lachlan.

Don't see Niall Toner being a long term option at 11?  Would the lad Kearney not be a longer term option or could try and change up mcguigans role?

Not necessarily saying it's a long term for Toner. But he gives everything when he plays (and is a brilliant option for breaking ball) and deserves to play. No.11 isn't really the same as it used to be, positions are relatively fluid.

The way McGuigan is playing at the minute I don't believe he would start for any of the other 15 teams left in the competition. He is stinking the place out

Our Hurlers done a Monaghan job on Meath. Two injury time goals to level it.

Tell me you didn't see the game without telling me you didn't see the game! The second goal put them one point ahead with 30 seconds of the +4 added remaining.. Meath then went up the park and got an equaliser. So Meath did a Monaghan

How long outta a broken hand. 6 weeks? The way we shipping goals u need Rodgers at full bck, who i worry going to be off the pace after a ankle injury, anyway. So who goes to Midfield. Probably should be Higgins but he's only played a couple of games. McFaul the other option been out injured ages.

You'd imagine 6-8 weeks with no complications. As much as more injuries aren't ideal, Tohill's injury is not a disaster by any means.
What's McFaul's injury? When did he last play? Will he be available vs Donegal?
Will Rodgers be OK to play vs Donegal?
Lynch is ages away apparently? Any update on the severity of his injury?
What's Lachlan Murrays injury?
Paudi McGrogan still not up to full tilt, could be a bit away from that as with ACL injuries.
Cormac Murphy has made the last couple of benches, but hasn't got many minutes.
McCluskey got another operation last week, season over.

You boys are a laugh majority say Tohill not up to it and as soon as he's injured it's a big deal.

No one on the board picks the Derry team so our opinion is just that. P Tally has consistently picked Tohill as a starter and has now lost him as an option. The comment was factual that the injuries keep coming no one has yet to make it into a big deal. Any injury to any player in any county which causes them to miss a championship match or matches is surely something that can be commented on.

That's the squad that played against Dublin in last years League Final. By my count: 7 out injured now (3 of which won't be seen in Derry colours again this season); 2 are now retired from county duty; And add in that Murphy, McGrogan and Laughlin have been out with long term injuries.

Eunan mulholland doesnt seem to be on the panel this year either. As well as last years sub keeper Ryan Scullion.

Realistically Tally like Harte will be judged at the end of the season. The difference in their seasons could depend on not getting another hammering by donegal.

Was chatting to somebody here in Sydney recently who said Scullion was planning on travelling this year & declared himself unavailable.
