Just to complete this theory if adopted theres 6 more clubs now adding value to what would now become a very competitive Intermediate cship. Clubs 11 to 20 in intermediate, same format as above.

Ultra competitive. Bigger gates. Better team representing us in Ulster club.

Clubs 21 and below into Junior.

Ratings based on finishing league position the year before.

Keeps club league games competitive too.

Could you really use league the year before? Would teams not complain they have men in with county teams and U20's etc.?

Had decent game yes but Derry is a bit of a stretch.
The lad he was marking probably doesn't start if Swatragh had full team out added to the fact they were miles off the fitness required.

The issue with the good forwards in Steelstown team, Mc Monagle, Mc Carron, Deery is they look really sharp and clinical until someone goes to the limit physically then they tend to go missing a bit. Although tonight was a good starter to settle them in.

I would reserve judgement until he's picked up by Clucky, Forbes, Mulholland, Warnock and players of that calibre.

We had a good 'discussion' recently after the Swatragh V SN league game a few weeks ago. Looks like I was proved right. A double figure 11 pt hammering.

Look Marty its all about winning, Steelstown really went at them from the start.
Fantastic analysis for a team to seem to prioritise winning in competitive sport.

Swatragh gave away stupid line ball mid way through second half if they had got a score there would have been 3 points in it, Steelstown went straight up the pitch got a goal to make it 7. That flattered them for what was a poor second half when an actual competitive game seemed to be on.

Multiple on holidays as far as I know

More of a challenge game than a championship game last night. Lavey will be about come the end of the championship but at what point do they switch the keeper, the only real weak spot last night

Regan should be back before next day out

I've a feeling Brady and Hetherington would be highlighting the number of shots that got off from edge of 2 point arc.

Hard to even remember how well they were contested but aye they definitely got them away alright. Newbridge were able to curtail McGuigan and McGonagle from range last year so I do think they can mix up the way they defend. Dont think they will be getting Callum McGrogan back anytime soon but S Young and a couple others seem close enough

I think they will be happy enough. Dirty diesel blew out and management have a stick to bate them with for the next round. Few of those others back for the next round to strengthen them again

Have a look at their website. Not a word about club football or hurling. It must be part of their ongoing and ridiculous protest against the split season.

Ideally RTE gets no GAA games. Give them to TG4 or Virgin. RTE's coverage over the years has been atrocious and is getting worse.
