The board probably realised that Kris Boyd wasn't being entirely truthful when he said they shouldn't make any rash decisions, lol.

Boyd was loving it. I enjoy Boyd and Sutton.

Martin O'Neill has returned to lead Celtic for the rest of the season after Wilfried Nancy was sacked.
Celtic moved quickly to take O'Neill back after his successful interim spell before Nancy's appointment.

That phone call would've been fun to listen in on 🤣🤭

So frustrating. They literally could have given Martin O'Neill the job until the end of the season a month ago. I'm just not so sure that he can save things twice but I suppose it can't get any worse. badly need a few players in the door here as well.

At least with Martin the players can all reset to 4 weeks ago so there is still a chance to turn it around. Alarm bells should have been ringing when Nancy only spent 15 mins with o'neil. It's such a rare opportunity when the manager previous to you hasn't been sacked and is leaving on good terms so why not get all the help and advice you can from him but as I said before a number of these new managers are just too full of themselves and think they know best

Pick players in their position in some version of 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 and Celtic will improve. If he gets someone scoring from the current squad or one in to the club, they might still scrape to the title. As bad as Celtic have been they are level with Rangers and had Hearts easily in their sites when the Nancy experiment started.
At least the title race gives a reason for watching the matches.

Wonder is Baldrick from Blackadder on the Celtic Board nowadays? It's all been so completely bizarre recently that it just has to have "cunning plan" stamped all over it.

Tisdale got the bullet.

40 days negotiating with Nancy for a 33 day reign.

I suspect Desmond will give it to O'Neill medium term. He knows nothing about football but the fellas he hired to do so knew even less.

Rangers were 13 points behind Hearts and eight behind Celtic when Danny Rohl was appointed. We're now three points behind Hearts and three points ahead of Celtic. A remarkable turnaround in our season, and it's down to Danny Rohl.
