Screw the whole senior Championship, Intermediate is were it is happing, it the tighest league by a mile, and any body can beat any body, well with the exception of Brockagh and Aghaloo cause there crap ;D Ther preliminary rounds should be very interseting to say the least, and opinions on who will come out on top, and more to the point when they rae due to be played???

Is this guy having a laugh?  Senior championship is where it all happens...The quickest & highest standard of football.  I not putting down intermediate or junior football but i know which medal id like to have in my back pocket...and would be respected the more for it...Thats the way it is in tyrone now, the standard is that high.

That's highly insulting. When Greencastle was in the Junior ranks last year, I witnessed some highly skilled games of football. Some that would put the Seniors to shame.

do you have a notion what club football is about quarterback?it's not just about big teams winning senior championships..it's also about the small clubs who might struggle for years even to field a team.it makes the good days for these clubs all the sweeter as i'm sure ziggy will agree.teams in div 2 or 3 aren't thinkin when they're playin "this is a poor standard, wish i was playin div 1!!!"catch a grip

cookstown beat pomeroy by 4
clonoe beat carrickmore by 4
What?  :o

Penrose was stretchered off with a knee injury, possibly damaged ligaments - had an ice pack on his right knee after the match.

clonoe played better football than carrickmore.first half clonoe dominated the middle.they got 2 goals-one an own goal from a cmore defender.he kicked a free from 21 yrds out into his own goal when trying to pass to the keeper..colly doris and shane o hagan were excellent.half time was somethin like 2-1 to a point to clonoe.

as expected in the second half carrickmore came right back and scored 7 or 8 points on the trot.game was level when the eugene mcconnell show kicked into action.he had been whistling, ticking, yellow carding, slowing the game up.the unlucky player who got his 2nd yellow was conor gormley.cmore might have went a point up but clonoe scored a goal and 2-3 points to finish the game off.

standard wasn't brilliant but was a good hard committed affair and clonoe deserved to win.was standin beside a few carrickmore one's and they seemed to be of the opinion that they just weren't good enough.took the defeat graciously...but they gave mconnell some stick  :o

well done and commiserations to the swifts.they are a credit in the way they have promoted a cross community ethos in the club over the past 5-10 years.they gave linfield much more of a game than anyone was predicting and should be proud of their efforts..ryan mccluskey's injury looked serious enough-he seemed to catch his studs in the turf and looked in a lot of pain

What about young Boyle - Conor not turbo.  Is he gonna do the business this year for ye. a fine player.

connor would tell u himself that he hasn't been playing his best this past year or so..he's still worth 5 points a game when he's not playin well tho.he had a mighty game on sunday.scored 7 and played as well as he has done for a good while.we'd still be a bit light through injuries, men away working etc Things look a lot brighter after sunday. Turbo still turns out for the over 25's on boxing day-he could still kick a bit  ;D
