Thoughts on replays being re-introduced to the club championships from the 1/4 Final stage?

They put the penalties to a vote a year or two ago and the clubs mostly voted unanimously to keep them, was this also decided by vote? Seems like the gravy train of the streaming games played a part, however I could be wrong.

they would need to bring in a season pass for the streaming service as there now is the potential for more games compared to the last few years.

This would make sense IMO, I have an elderly neighbour who can no longer make games and I helped him set up the streaming last year and he was out a fortune. Also he would of previously got the season ticket to actually go to the games to save money.

A lot of good teams scratching their heads these days . Credit Dublin Derry Kerry Monaghan. They adapted better to the new conditions and Monaghan had a great focus from their early round robin games.
I think if all stays the same next year, there will be an even more competitive ouch for the outright winning of the group. For everyone except Armagh there were obvious advantages with the extra week that helped their cause.
I'm getting more convinced that the reasons that Dub and Kerry have more all irelands is that they can Adapt quicker than the others whatever the environment.

I disagree with the adapt better comment, kerry and Dublin are the two best teams in Ireland this year, has little to do with adapting to the format.

Things have taken a turn for the worst here. Work, home life and the illness of a close friend has really knocked me back on my heels totally.

Things will get better but at the minute it's hard to see that happening.

I would get bad bouts myself, and talking to someone be it a professional or even a friend really helps. Sometimes airing some of the shit in your head can take a bit of the burden off.

Gary O'Neil sacked by Bournemouth. That is incredibly harsh. Done a superb job to keep Bournemouth up.

There was a report last week about an unnamed premier league boss being investigated for something unsavoury, I wonder if they are related

Obv we don't see what's going on in training - it's a selfish point of view here from a fans perspective - but we have a monster of a man in mcgleenan on the bench, why is he on the panel if we won't use him?

Jesus he's a colossus, in at 14 with one or both canavans and McCurry round him for the break, you'd imagine it's worth a try.

Would definitely give other teams something to think about. If it didn't work he could always be subbed off and revert to type.

Mc gleenan hasn't dominated in any club game I've seen him in as of yet, why would he be able to do it in county?

From the replay yesterday it looked like forker threw a few digs on the ground after the penalty was awarded, did anyone else notice that?

Was that this one?

Do we think this behaviour is coached in Armagh? Beginning to think it's the only explanation.

Just to clarify I couldn't give a shit if he did, just wanted to know if it was just me that saw it. Happens with every team in the country, don't buy into the bullshit from southern media "it's always Armagh".

I do like Joe Brolly's new podcast.

It's good but nearly every episode is just him criticizing Trump, The Tories, The DUP and the Royal Family

Fair play to him. The DUP , Tories, Trump and the Royals are scum.

Obviously
Bit repetitive just same chat every week

Sing it from the rooftops, can never emphasis it enough

I haven't seen 30 points scored by one team in an adult fixture in Tyrone in a long time.

Game was blown up early apparently, sad to see it, I remember not to long ago Killyman had some serious footballers.

How good was sambo? Would he have matched up against his southern counterparts?

You sound like a right misery guts ::)

No. Just frustrated at Gaelic Football. Senior county football looked like it was turning a corner not so long ago. But with Rory Gallagher's reemergence, and now Armagh and Roscommon determining that the best way to progress is by removing any potential for mistakes, we are about to take a giant step backwards again in Jimmy McGuinness land.... Unless the rule makers step in.

Why should Roscommon go out play gung ho football and get hammered?

Any idea why 9th June is down as only Junior fixtures on website? I know there's two more rounds in junior than the other two, so they nearly need to be 2 rounds ahead as games are rattled off, but a bit early for a weekend off no?

Grade 1 & Grade 2 U20 finals fixed for that weekend. Also U16 league finals in all grades the same weekend.

Derrytresk and fintona game most likely be off that Friday as well then?

Not sure on that one, only going on what came out from CCC this week. Unless they fix the U20 Grade 2 final for the Sunday and play Senior game on the Friday evening as normal?

True, I just presumed if Moortown where getting the Friday off then they'd have to give it to fintona as well, wouldn't be great for derryresk if that's the case end up having to most likely play a midweek away game down the line
