Quote from: Ghost on May 19, 2024, 12:46:34 AMFury's best days are behind him. Don't think he has it in him to win a rematch.

If he gets 3 judges like the middle one he might. That was scandalous that it was a split decision.

Was a strange one alright. Would they rig the scorecards to make it seem tighter to sell the rematch better?

Bizzare that Fury's team sent him out into the 12th thinking he was in control. Not that he'd have got the knockout anyway.

A pedestrian was killed so getting the players in probably wasn't their no.1 priority in fairness.

Quote from: Ghost on May 06, 2024, 10:30:43 PMThe downfall of Casemiro is getting sad to watch at this stage. He's there for another 2 years on 350k a week so he'll probably feel alright about it.
Real Madrid do not sell key players when they are still good

Was hoping Saudi would come in for him in the summer. Think he'd be out of his depth there at the minute.

Jones stinking the place out in this final. 6-0 down and missing shots by a long way. Add in Wilson playing fairly well and it could be over sharpish tomorrow.

Quote from: quit yo jibbajabba on May 04, 2024, 10:56:53 PMSo there we have it, Wilson v Jones. Can't wait 🤓

Doesn't exactly wet the appetite. That Jones and Bingham game was a bit of a slog at times. Bingham be disappointed he couldn't carry on the form he showed against ROS.

Expect Wilson to win the final comfortable enough but I suppose Jones has been written off all tournament.

Poor old Terry has dementia now.

Quote from: square_ball on May 01, 2024, 10:02:56 PMThat's as bad a semi final line up as there's ever been.

Jones v Bingham
Wilson v Gilbert

Brutal. That Jak Jones is as boring as they come.

Some ending to the Allen v. Higgins match there. Allen boing to be wondering how he didn't win. Had chances in the last 2 frames to see it out.

Higgins showing his bottle once again.

Quote from: Ghost on April 20, 2024, 10:54:08 PMHard to remember a team dropping as many short in a single game as Derry did today. Midfield was dominated when the game really mattered too.

All round the team looked fatigued (possibly disinterested) and Donegal brought a greater intensity to the game.

And no mention of the bombscare keeper.

Think that speaks for itself. A disaster all round. Can't believe they persisted with it after the 1st let alone the 2nd.

3rd?

Well doing it after the 2nd time obviously led to it happening the 3rd time...
