I discovered that I had 3 old TV's in the  shed. Two are the old bulky tv's, one a flatscreen. They're all switching on, but there are no remotes with them.

Seems a  shame to bring them  to the  dump. Is there anywhere/anyone who could use them, or are they able to be recycled in any way?

Just bring them to your local electronics store. They should have a WEEE recycling bin there.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Why would I be having a laugh?
Places like PowerCity and DID all have big bins inside the door where anyone can drop off old appliances, TVs, microwaves, kettles etc.
You don't have to be even buying anything.
