It won't be neutral venues - first named team at home, with the exception of the last game, which is the wrong way around - DCU/Cork IT will be at home. I think the 200km exception rule still applies so Sligo vs Cork will probably be in Clare somewhere, but NUIG might be at home regardless - I think that's part of the deal when you're the host college for the final. I hope so, I'd look forward to that game and needless to say I won't be making a midweek trek to Longford or Cavan.

The League Final is tonight, ie, the Ryan Cup. UCC v Carlow in WIT. Last year UCC were stuffed in the same final at the same point by DIT who had just announced Paul Galvin but a month or so later the Kerryman didn't play, DIT were put out without reaching the last 8 and UCC won the Sigerson!

Been successful at U-16,Minor or U-21 level confrims talent is coming through & IMO it doesn't matter which level you succeed, it's up to the Senior management to take risks as some younger players take longer to develop & TBH Harte is one of the best at getting it right.

Its matters hugely I'm afraid. the strike rate of 21'd making it ahead of minors is far higher. 21 is the key grade. The rest are largely irrelevent IMO.

If U-21 football is such a yardstick then (for example) why haven't Galway done better at senior level? most players have to impress first at U-16,Minor before been considered for U-21 & as already said here that level can be misleading.

How many Cross players will make the Armagh team next year? Oisin is getting on a bit but is still good enough to line out for his county.

Gooch v Clarke will be some semi final match up however UCC might have something to say about it.
