Not really. Dunloy and Cushendall have given them much sterner tests, including beating them in recent years!

Hats off to St Johns. They waited a long time for that one, it's a major achievement and hopefully a wider spread of competitive clubs lifts the county. 👏👏

Agree - should be a consistent, annual venue for finals. Hurling final two years ago was a great experience at Corrigan. Fact that St Johns are there should not really be a factor.

Thought for sure the ref would blow a draw and send the game to extra time when it was around 63 and 64 mins. Don't even think anyone would have objected.

Keeping us in Div 1 meant beating Laois, that's it. I am sure Davy would have been targeting at the very least a more competitive Leinster campaign, but apart from yesterday we weren't really competitive in any championship game after half time. That's a poor championship campaign, more so than this last few seasons.

Have to admit I got it wrong initially and thought it was a harsh decision, but seeing it back at half time, it was a stupid action.

But - overall the ref didn't help us, after James' goal there was an Offaly attack which ended with a shoulder charge and Offaly player holding onto the ball. Should have been our free but ref threw the ball in and they scored a goal from the re start. We arguably could have had a penalty when Nigel Elliot brought down in first half.

Battling second half but damage was done. Very disappointing - only one win all year.

Big disappointment today, we never looked like winning a 50/50 contest; each of our puck outs was a contested ball and theirs led straight to uncontested Dublin possession; our handling was just poor - uncontested passes being fumbled, catches being dropped. We were never on the same platform as Dublin today. Everything now most likely comes down to a winner takes us all away to Offaly - its not an optimistic prospect.

It is literally a second tier competition...it was established to be so.

The amount of injury feigning and yapping from Armagh was frankly embarrassing. No need for it given the obvious talent and power in the team, but never saw the like of it. Soccer style yaps.

RTE report says hooter in use for all games from this weekend, but that's not the case. Only to be used in Div 3 and 4 finals not regular league games.

Clare not easy either though hopefully winnable. Leitrim match isn't going to be much of a spectacle with Poacher in charge of them.

Looking at next season's league fixtures...the home games definitely all winnable v Clare, Leitrim, Sligo. The harder games are probably the away fixtures. Home to Clare to start.
