GAA Discussion / Re: Ulster Championship 2026

Armagh to win their next two fixtures by a combined total of +20pts.

Too many getting carried away by Monaghan's comeback rather than Derry's total failure keep the foot on the throat and win the game.

Armagh are a different animal and will win at a canter.

Armagh 1-28
Monaghan 0-19

Already too many wides for Derry.

No changes to the line up - though they have added 27-29 as part of the squad.

Donegal management clearly didn't watch any of the Derry/Tyrone game last week because they haven't set up any differently how Derry set up.

The Tyrone defence is extremely well organised. And Donegal haven't moved them about at all. You could hear the groans when Donegal looked like they had a good attack going and the Number 8 turned back again.

And Donegal have been very wasteful in front of goals. Should be much further ahead. Only a 6pt game - Tyrone still in it.

Ciaran Daly for Frank Burns - gone from the 26
Ciaran Bogue into the panel

It will be a nothing less than a double digit victory for Armagh.

Realistically they should be going out to try and better the 18pt hammering Tyrone give them in 2017.

Donegal 1-12 Derry 1-11
Donegal top the group and straight into the semifinals. Derry into the quarterfinals

U20
Derry and Donegal have named strong sides for this evenings game. Roarty down to start for Donegal, Max Campbell on the bench. Derry unchanged from Fermanagh game which means, no Sargent for Derry.

With Roarty not starting for Donegal today, he'll probably appear for the U20s against Derry mid week

Thought Meath got handier decisions from the ref. He was quick to stick the arm up for advantages that Cork weren't getting.

Cork keeper didn't cover himself in glory for the Meath goal, ducked under it and Cork should've taken a point and go again with their last attack.

The hooter rule needs looked at again. Teams can foul the bit out in the last 60 seconds to end the game. Meath lad going off laughing on a black card because he's killed about 10secs, and which was immediately followed by another foul from another Meath lad.

Big decision from the ref at the start of the second half. Looked like 18 knew what he was doing, caught 25 with an elbow.

Would rather stay in Division Two than be cheering for Tyrone.

Small square. But can't see where the ball was touched on the ground.
