If Gnevin can have a biased tabloidesque pro IBEC anti Union headline then I can have a pro Union anti IBEC one. ;D
An organisation representing some Electrical contractors has refused to pay a 4.9% increase recommeded by the Labour Court.
Mary Coughlan is now invoking some clause of Industrial Relations legislation to deal with this matter.
Time for Employers to get real and stop trying to make the same obscene level of profits they were making (mainly by overcharging) in the Celtic Tiger era.

I dont know any body in the construction trade who is making odscene profits at the minute

Most contractors are struggling to keep their heads above water

We're talking Electrical contractors here.
The Building contractors can live off the obscene profits they made while ripping off a whole generation and beggaring them into the bargain. >:(
