All due respect but Roscommon beat London, Letrim and Sligo (albeit a highly impressive Sligo team) and they are the 7th best team in the country....  :-\ :-\

Barring a draw on Saturday we'll be in the last 6 this year  ;) :D 8)

These are my rankings for the 2010 season, not overall. And obviously the top hasn't been decided yet so this is what i think will happen!

Quote1. Tyrone
2. Cork

'Tis alot you know about it, aren't they on the same side of the draw....

That means nothing. If Tyrone beat Cork by a point and went on to beat Kerry by 20, it would be a legitimate enough ranking.
Were Mayo the second best team in the country for the years you tanked them?

From the Bunker

1. Tyrone
2. Kerry
3. Cork
4. Monaghan Why who did they beat in the Championship, Just survived Div 1 with first team
5. Meath  ;D
6. Kildare Lost to Louth
7. Dublin
8. Sligo
9. Down  ;D
10. Limerick Did nothing again but lose respectively to Cork and Kerry
11.Roscommon
12. Louth
13. Wexford  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

This is a strange year, because the likes of Armagh, Derry, Mayo, Galway and Donegal are outta the usual mix.

Looking outside the top three you could put any of the others in any order and they would look right!

It would be a good few years since i'd have had Donegal anywhere near the top 10, despite their extended run last year.

Like Mayo they (Donegal) will topple a Big county or two in any given championship season, but when it comes to the business end of the competition, they fall away badly.

That seem a shocking price for Down at this stage to be 25-1 when Kerry have 5 key players missing from last year.  If they did beat Kerry they would fancy there chances against Meath or Kildare.
There are no proofs, only opinions.

Ratings are a pile of crap. Leave that rubbish to Martin Breheny.

The only things that matters are the six trophies on offer each year:

Top of the class for whoever finishes Sam

A good year for anybody with a provincial title

A nice decoration to the mantlepiece if you win the League.

Other than that you are an also ran and need to get the head down for next season.
