Christy Moore.
First song and he gets stuck in straight away.

Ryan looking very uncomfortable....
Think Christy was looking to sing another few, Tubridy's a tool!

Tubridy doesn't know how to have a natural converstation.
He can do OTT fawning stuff which is cringe to watch and I'm guessing Christy didn't want it either .
So the alternative is to sing the songs and end it there!
Better off that way if you ask me!

Vicky Phelan is a superwoman. Legacy of Tony Hoolohon there.

I have to admit to being a bit confused by the whole smear test controversy.
As I understood it, there was always a margin  of error meaning some positive cases would be missed.
So, if that's the case, is the issue that the false negative wasn't notified ASAP?

Indeed, Christy picked up the second guitar and was ready to sing on, but was cut off by Tubridy.  In fairness to Tubridy, anyone who has been to the Late Late show will quickly realise that he's literally only the presenter ... he's being controlled by the floor manager, and when told to cut from behind the camera, that's what he has to do.  He is very uncomfortable it seems however when faced with a few ballads, his body language gives that away ... one mention of Long Kesh and he's looking to the side for cover.

Vicky Phelan ... what can be said, nothing but total respect.

I didn't realise her trip to the US didn't achieve anything. It's awful to think she will probably die.

Fair play to Vicki but so sad and avoidable.
Seafoid, for your info you and I and everyone else WILL die, no probably about it.

It has been said on here many times that Tubs would be rather covering stories of misery, arse-licking or doing the toy show. Has never been any use with sports people or anyone with potential for controversy.

Not when our kids are teenagers. That's the worst thing .

Is The Late Late Show the only talk show that deals in a constant basis with death? It seems that week in week out, the theme of death is touched on by a Chronically ill guest or by a Chronically ill subject.

Snapchap

Should be a Late Late bingo card for guests:

Mario Rosenstock
A fellow RTÉ presenter
Imelda May
Nathan Carter
Westlife/Boyzone
Christy Dignam
Bob Geldof
Dermot Bannon
Pat Shortt
Daniel O'Donnell
Oliver Callan
Someone who is ill
Bernard O'Shea
Finbarr Furey
A victim of a crime
Davy Fitz
Sinead O'connor

Have I missed anyone?
