Look-Up!

It is what it is. Waiting till summer probably the sensible option the way things are at the moment and options available. All a mess of their own making. Interesting to see how he handles the squad at his disposal and if he gets a better or worse tune than Amorim.

Holland is an interesting appointment with MC, hopefully he will bring something to the table as an outsider.

Managerial stats

Michael Carrick

G139 W65 D25 L49. Win % 46.76

Roy Keane

G181 W70 D42 L69. Win % 38.7

You could use stats to suggest Kevin McStay was a better manager than Mick O'Dwyer, cop on

Keane brought her home 🏆 Carrick languished

I wouldn't be able find stats for that if I even tried. You need to move on from Roy Keane, maybe he'll get the Irish job some day and we'll see can he improve his average win percentage.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Carrick is EFL level at best, not cut out for the FA Premiership

Doesn't get any tougher than to play Man City,Arsenal in his first two games on his return. I expect a 7th or 8th place finish to the season at best.

Where is this Keane obsession coming from?

He hasn't managed in 15 years. He isn't in the frame for any jobs. He fell out with the decision makers at United when he was relevant. I would wager serious loot he hasn't been/won't be mentioned. He is a pundit now. Move on.

So Fletcher was the interim, interim manager.

Cheapskate Ratcliffe will be hoping he does a decent enough job so that he can pay him buttons to take it on over the summer.

He's a cult figure and has cult followers; people who will happily state that Haaland deserved to to have his knee smashed in two, and people who take pride in Keane walking out on his country.

When you wonder about how Trump can pull the wool over so many people's eyes, Keane is not a bad reference point for the same thing happening on a local level.

Carrick is hardly  much of an upgrade from Fletcher tbh.

Im assuming  they just want to tread water until  the summer , and see who  they can get then. But who  the frig would want it?

Ah jes, last man out switch off the lights

Wilcox Carrick nexus to the moon

Any chance of stopping the Keane talk, Jim Gavin has a better chance of getting that job.

Sorry state of affairs at United, watching City buy up all the best talent, Semenyo scoring tonight, another player United apparently fucked up signing in the summer

Until they sort the place out this will continue to happen, no young talented player is going to take a risk on signing for a basket case that is United at the moment. This is where you end up in the vicious cycle they are in at the moment, trying to buy from the second tier talent pool hoping that one or two of them are the real deal.

It is not a short term fix.
