Yes but nobody cares what people in Monaghan think.
It's north of the Dublin Galway railway line and highly correlated with rushes and football. Sure isn't it massive in the North?

It's a structural problem. They have a fabulous stadium but they can't get a manager to put smacht on a decent set of players.

Van de Ven isn't great but he scored a stunna against Copenhagen

Ahead of the war, Caine warned the White House about the risks of Washington being dragged into a protracted war, the complexity of the conflict and threats to American bases and personnel, according to US media.

Centcom understood what the escalation scenarios [were]," Stroul said. "It does not appear that President Trump and his inner circle fully grasped the escalation ladder and range of Iranian retaliation actions, and what the US options were going to be to counter them."

Genocide isn't a bug. It's a feature.

This has 3 aspects:

Zionist Jews in the diaspora including Ireland who denied Gaza genocide last time

Antisemitism the real f**king thing

Muslims in Asia and their hatred for Israel

Chris Hedges on Iran

It's a clusterfuck. US not thinking strategically. Misread Iran. No Plan B. Bombing not a solution. Minimum 1 million troops to invade.

General discussion / Re: The UK Labour Party
March 12, 2026, 07:00:59 PM
Labour support fell from 34% at the election to 17% in January because of cost of living and Gaza. Muslim voterss defected to the Greens.
In the Gorton and Denton by election Labour came third. The greens campaigned on cost of living and Gaza. Just fancy that.

Starmer is a Zionist. He might hang on until May. Nobody can fix the economy

•   The UK suffers from three failures: failing politics; a failing state; and a failing economy.
•   The problem is that the economy does not provide a rising standard of living or the expected quality of public services at politically acceptable levels of taxation.
•   When economies cease to grow, everything becomes zero-sum: more for one group of people means less for others. The overwhelming questions in politics become how to contain the discontent when much of the population has stagnant real incomes, how to manage the public finances, especially during shocks, and how to get the economy growing again.

It's the same in the North with added political paralysis
