GAA Discussion / Re: Joe Brolly

Wonder did Joe have the same grievances about Brian Mullins when he took the Derry job or is it because he simply doesn't like Mickey Harte?

Made poor work of that 3rd goal.

Onana isn't very good is he? United have had their pants pulled down on another signing.

At least it rules out the paranoia that it was some kind of corruption and conspiracy against Liverpool. Just sheer incompetence from the VAR fella in particular. The only one that seemed to have any understanding of what was going on was the man operating the video images.

And listening to it and hearing how bad they are I'm surprised this hasn't happened before.

Quote from: TyroneGael89 on October 03, 2023, 05:35:45 PMAny details of when Junior Championship Final is played?
I assume it will be under lights on Saturday 14th in Omagh to give a nights drinking and then 2 weeks to Ulster club.

Them the 4 Senior and Intermediate semifinals will then be 2 double headers on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
My guess
Derrylaughan v Pomeroy &
Ardboe v Errigal in Edendork on the Saturday.

Clonoe v Moy/Clogher &
Dungannon v Trillick in Carrickmore on the Sunday.

I couldn't see Edendork being fit to hold a double header especially if there's any rain in the week leading up to it.

Quote from: ClubScene13 on October 03, 2023, 11:48:47 AMKilleeshil and Tattyreagh is this Saturday so I'd imagine the game in Annagher will be 14th Oct / 21st Oct. Maybe 21st as there is nothing else due on that weekend.

There will be a long wait for the winners of Moortown/Coalisland to then face the Division 2 side. Earliest it could be would be 18th/19th November.

falling over yourselves to point score that quickly that you lads can get nothing right.
All the racist abuse was on instagram (not twitter or X) by faceless accounts. won't be anything done about it.

Yip you're right I couldn't wait to point score about something as trivial as a refereeing decision going against Liverpool that I posted in the wrong thread.

Musk probably won't give a bollocks.

But hopefully the British authorities do what they can with the full support of LFC. I'm pretty sure people have been held accountable in the past in Britain for this type of online abuse.

Seems to be the default of a minority of football fans of all clubs to resort to that when something goes against their team.

It will make a complete mockery of things if having been nominated at midfield, they then put McCarthy in at half back to squeeze him into the team.
To be fair a number of All Stars have been selected that way for a few years now.

Yeah the Colm Cavanagh full back one in 2018 was the worst they have ever done in that regard.

I see they got a 2 red cards once the game was gone. Were they straight reds? Possible suspension for the intermediate first round next year if they were straight red cards.

All on Fleetwood or Lowry here. USA must have been some odds yesterday lunchtime.
