Errigal seemed to brush dungannon aside alright today, although l dont think dungannon are as good as was expected off them, alot of passengers and very average players, they wont win a championship for a long time

Errigal seemed to get their match ups right. They kept Mark McKelvey and the 2 Jones quiet. A lot of what Dungannon does well flows through those 3.
McNulty also a big loss as we the Clarkes struggled on their own kick outs with a lot going too short or over the sidelines.

A great game in dungannon tonight. But why are these teams playing at this time on a Sunday night and the same next week for Errigal and Dromore?
Especially next week with the only other game scheduled being the other semi final - strange to say the least

Deadly game tonight. Edendork will win it now.

Can't see Galbally overcoming Edendork.

Every game different. What happened this weekend will matter not in 2 weeks time.

It could be a coming of age for Conor Quinn. If he can limit McCurry it becomes a very different game.

Ridiculous time next week for one of the biggest games of the championship, especially with so little else on. Again shows it's all about tv money now at the expense of encouraging people to attend games. If both semis next Sunday easily could have played a double header in Omagh Sunday afternoon.

I am sure Sludden has his reasons.

They obviously make more tv money splitting the games up. A double header would have attracted a great crowd.

And gate money too.

Maybe but I'd imagine it's not as much as they think. A lot of neutrals will end up choosing one game and spending less on the single header than would if it was a double header. I'd say crowds at games are down than 4/5 years ago. But county board getting tv money to make up for it so don't care.

Errigal were very un-Errigal - had a bit of steel and badness about them which they've been missing this past 10 years or so. Took the two jones and mckearney out of it and the canavans are a chip off the old block and can handle themselves too. can they back it up against dromore?

square_ball

I thought Ruairi Canavan was quiet enough yesterday yet still ended up with 1-3. He didn't look to be fully fit. Darragh was superb. Dungannon couldn't get to grips with him at all.

Can this Errigal juggernaut be stopped? Get the hotels booked for AI club final baby yeeeehaaaa
