The biggest issue at stake here for the US is the petrodollar.

If Iran starts selling oil to the rest of the world in anything other than the USD, and others follow suit then the inflated value of the dollar takes a serious hit and that will have huge implications for the US economy.

If all this is true then why aren't the US war ships lined up the Strait of Hormuz ensuring the oil tankers are flowing freely, those big beautiful oil tankers.

Not sure why people think Iran is doing well in this conflict? It is being systematically pulverised. Iran has got a lot of low hanging fruit in terms of it's resistance strategy - economic pressure, the choke point of Hormuz is an open goal and a plentiful supply of cheap drones that it can launch from anywhere, they've certainly a huge nuisance value, but to characterise as much more  than that is balls imo.

They don't need to "win" in a traditional sense to actually win the war as daft as that sounds, as long as they can keep causing economic hassle and keep firing missiles they're doing alright. By all accounts they've done a lot more harm to Tel Aviv than is being let on.

That's bollocks to be honest. Their infrastructure is pulverised as well as lots of their military facilities, their navy vessels and their air force. They've suffered tens of billions of damage and that's before we mention the thousands of citizen's who have died. All they've to show for their attacks on Israel and American is a few damaged streets in Israel and Americans paying more for gas. It's been a very expensive war for Iran no matter what the outcome.

As David mentioned stay away from Block Box policies as you think you're saving £1k at the time but a few cancelled policies later it ends up costing you more. Certainly a hard one to take lads, and hard not to see it as a big opportunity missed.  Should have won it in normal time, and really had plenty of the ball to get the winner too but just seemed to lack the killer pass. I dont think they get that 2nd goal if Scales is there, but maybe I'm deluded in that.
