QuoteWill's fictional dad and Carli's actual dad in the Inbetweeners.
Ah yes, Emily  Head. I was wondering if there  was a connection there.

Checked IMDb. He was in Jonathan Creek . I recall him in  that. And  I think I remember him in  inbetweeners as well, briefly

Actor Anthony Head , 72

I knew his face  straight away. But I can't  work out  what he was best known for.

Quote from: AustinPowers on June 04, 2026, 12:58:50 PMThe 999 phone call from McCullagh  on "finding" Natalie McNally's body is  disturbing.

He had asked his friend to come with him to Natalie's house  that day , but she said she didn't want to get involved . Imagine he was willing to put  his friend through that , coming across that scene. The sick, twisted bastard.

Horrible, everything about it, killing her, the unborn baby, setting it all up with the fake live on line story, laying the blame at the ex boyfriend and going to the house with her family  and sitting grieving with them..

Was there ever a reason as to why he did it? Did he deny it all the way?

The cops reckoned he had been snooping on her phone, he knew the PIN, and saw sexually explicit messages between her and other men.

Is that public knowledge?

Hopefully he'll be getting plenty of sexual explicit contact every day he's in prison

From the bbc -

It was the prosecution case that, although McCullagh has never explained his actions, it is likely that his motivation for the murder was reading messages sent by Natalie to other men in the weeks before her death.
Some of these messages were sexually explicit in nature whilst others discussed potentially breaking up with McCullagh.
It was confirmed that McCullagh had the PIN for Natalie's phone.

Why didn't he ask her   about the texts?  Have it out, ask if she was going to end it  with him,? If he couldn't trust her , walk away.

instead he  continued to play  the loving boyfriend, acting normally over a number of days  , while at the same time  planning her  murder . He makes that video , things go on normally , and  she was at his house hours before on that Sunday. Did he never in all that time ,  even on the way up on the  bus , think to himself... Jesus, this is mental. What  am I at here?

You could sort  of understand some one losing the head in an argument, lashing out or  wrecking the place. But  the cold calculated planning that went into the whole thing , and the brutal  beating and damage done to her  was absolutely psychotic.

Prison is too good for the cûnt

QuoteAs an Armagh man who goes to majority of games league & Championship I'm fully behind Louth for this, in fact it's master stroke and I'd do exactly the same. There is not much between the teams and when you factor in the little to no fans, the tighter pitch and disrupting the whole thing then fair play Louth, they've given themselves (or as they hope) a slight advantage on Armagh. I'd take any team to the corners of the Country If I thought it would help us win, the games been set on venue and time so lets just watch it on TV and suck it up...Would love to be there but not even gonna try and get a ticket, not gonna waaste my time.
Agreed. If Louth win and  sitting in the QF , that's all that will matter to them.

A lot of the teams left are capable of beating each other , so if Louth  increase their  chances by playing in a ground Armagh are unfamiliar with , that could be  the difference. Nothing wrong with that

Agree on Brown eyed girl. Awful song. Not as bad as  Sweet Caroline , but it's not  far off

As for the digging Wobbler , I've discovered some great stuff  on this thread from  others suggestions and  my own digging

That will go down well  after his spell in  the Nazi  state.

Who would you rather have, Keane or Lennon?

What's wrong with Lennon?

Quote from: blanketattack on June 02, 2026, 03:29:54 PMWhat dead ball situations are allowed to be taken after the hooter if occurring just before the hooter?

Free
Penalty
45
Sideline
Offensive mark
Midfield mark
First 4, yes, interesting one re the marks, ball obviously has to go dead so would need to be a serious hoof of a kickout mark.

One rule would solve  all of this. Ball must go over the opposition end line  to end the game.

It would cut out  all those  cynical fouls with seconds  to go as well.

QuoteThat's Dublin and Kerry looked after as expected.
Tough enoigh one for us but the type of game you need to be winning to be an AI contender.
Wouldn't rule out  Cavan beating Dublin

Dublin won't be winning  no All Ireland anyway , so  I wouldn't worry. Kerry handy draw though as usual

As usual?
Got Donegal last time.
The two previous championship draws, they got Tyrone in 2025 semi, and the then reigning All-Ireland Champions Armagh in 2025 1/4s.

If you're getting to a  semi final, odds are you'll meet   a top 4 or 5 team

Kerry didn't draw Armagh last year. Kerry were the only  team Armagh COULD get as they'd played  every one else previously

Just gloss over getting Donegal in the last round.🤣

It wasn't a knockout  round though
