A general prohibition on all other work would never stand up in court or a tribunal. My only suggestion is that before going to court you make sure that you have paid all taxes on the nixer.

Ha, there is a suggestion that Givan might resign himself and start the 7 day clock running before a new leader is elected.

Miracles! Bloody miracles?? I assume the catholic search has no interest in being taken seriously?

Getting several countries occupied by Germany, where people were shot, gassed and starved, to come together with Germany was pretty good work. Remember he did this in 11 years, whereas twice that time has passed since the GFA and the DUP cannot stomach an Irish Language Act.

I know why, but all the same, HOW could anyone vote DUP in the next election?

Their political game is really bad, no strategy of any kind at all. As everyone is saying here, it's the thing where they never had to earn it, or earn the votes.

Who is tipped to come in next for Poots?

Sorry to say this, and I'd love to be wrong, but there's a chance that this won't hurt their electoral hopes one bit. Hatred for Sinn Fein and hatred for the fenians is a much more powerful motivator for unionist voters than any love for any particular party. They'll vote for whoever they think will be toughest on the taigs, and they don't care if it's a sh1tshow like the one unfolding now.

In a normal country Arlene would have been finished by the cash-for-ash scandal, but because she was DUP it was all water off a duck's back. You can be as corrupt, as hypocritical, as immoral, as bigoted, or as hateful as you like and you will do fine in the DUP. But as soon as you show any sign of willingness to compromise with the most trivial of nationalist requests (unless your name's Ian Paisley Senior) you're screwed.

A guy I work with, a good lad who I would considered a friend, said he never voted DUP but he will have to change the way things are going. That to me sums up loyalists/unionists. Keeping the taigs out is more important than anything else

The DUP first election test could arrive very quickly as Donaldson as expressed he wants to lead the party as first minister from stormont. Rumours of him being co-op into Fermanagh/South Tyrone to fill Foster Seat an potentially Foster to fight the Lagan Valley By Election for Westminster. What a interesting development that would be.

Foster said that she would leave the DUP, that would be quick change around, even for a politician. Would the Lagan Valley constituency organisation, run by Poots and Givan, row in behind her?

Did I just hear the BBC Commentator say if England lose the Euro semis & final because of Covid it could go to Hungary? Christ that would be an uber humiliation for Bojo and the boys.

Itís something to do with the big wigs and sponsors having to quarantine before attending the semis/final. Itís obviously a threat that Boris will bow down to. One rule for the millionaires, another for the peasants.

Actually, I think they can do something for the bigwigs and sponsors, who will be in restricted areas. The issue is about the fans generally as the government does not want a load of randomers coming without applying the rules when John Smith, blue passport holder, has to quarantine coming back from his holidays.

I can't see how applying public health rules to foreigners is a humiliation for Boris, whereas an outbreak of Covid in London would affect him.

I imagine Donaldson will galvanise them, he has that faux "respectable" veneer and will certainly appeal to those who are thinking of defecting to the UUP

The DUP had a bad NI election in March 2017

Three months later at the Westminster election their vote went way up

They went from 184k votes and 25.7% share in May 2015 to 292k votes and 36.0% in June 2017

This is comparing a STV election with a FPTP election. The TUV are a huge threat in the Assembly election, but in Westminster is it a vote to stop themmuns.

100% one way or the other record the meeting, go in with a pen and paper and request that the meeting is formally minuted and that you'd like a copy to review.

Depending on the size of the company, HR probably ain't all that and could shit themselves so someone preparing to actually show a bit of resolve and not get trampled all over.

Absolutely. And if they raise the issue of a non compete clause then specifically ask the question as to how they believe your weekend work is competing. If they are vague on this this state that this is not relevant and concentrate on the performance issues.

The court found that AZ were derelict, it just did not order them to produce a load of vaccine, possibly because nobody in Europe now wants more of it.

As the FT reports
In a ruling on Friday, a court in Brussels criticised AstraZeneca for a ďserious breachĒ of its contract with the EU after repeated shortfalls but refused to impose a new schedule

And AZ did not supply the goods ordered, they merely had slippery language in their contract like many cheats.

What the hell is wordstar??

there you go
https://www.pcjs.org/software/pcx86/app/other/wordstar/3.30/

WordStar was a word processor for doing the business back in the day when Plunkett Donaghy was the the top footballer.
It had a column editor, which was very handy.

Good performance by Scotland.

This is part of a series of Brexit aftershocks. The DUP tok part for the money and never thought about the consequences.

They haven't really faced up to what they did in Brexit. Dodds et al should have been thrown out for that.

Pornhub say that every video uploaded is viewed by human moderators....if that were my job I would have myself drained and a right arm that would put Arnie to shame

I expect they get perverts to moderate the normal stuff and normal people to moderate the pervert stuff, so that they do not wear themselves out.

Which category did you get your job in? ;D

I'm only a consumer, I couldn't stick 8 hours a day at my age, half that is enough.

Lowry isn't a journalist, he's the press officer (Goebbels) for the ultra bigot wing of Unionism. Whenever he's interviewed he doesn't have an ounce of journalistic objectivity, whereas Sam McBride isn't a bad listen.

I was surprised when Lowry stated in some article that his brother lived in Dublin, so not all the family are like that.
