Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers. Fancied a trip to Dublin.

Did Gyokeres not rip City a new one in Europe? David Clifford would be an upgrade on Hojlund, so would be willing to give Gyokeres a chance.
Will he be another massive flop if united sign him. Portuguese league a unknown quantity
Hope United avoid any daft salaries, players think they've made it then put the feet up and we can't get rid of them.
Quote from: gallsman on May 27, 2025, 01:48:45 PMThink Ramsey is terrific tbh. They've written the character quite differently from the game. In the game she's calm and professional. In the show they've written her a bit more scared, a bit less competent. She trembles more, her voice shakes more.
Finale felt very rushed to me but on the whole I enjoyed the season, although not as much as the first.
Quote from: Mourne Red on May 27, 2025, 02:55:52 PMQuote from: lurganblue on May 27, 2025, 12:17:59 PMThe young lad was talking about getting some sort of fitness tracker. But he isnt keen on a smartwatch. He is looking something that he can wear while playing GAA and maybe for some distance running (but posibly not the vest type thing either).
Any recommendations folks? Maybe one of those whoop bands? I see they also need a subscription though
I was using a whoop (4.0 there's 5.0 now) for the past year and it was good but felt some of the tracking was a bit off. (Steps massively, calories and haptic alarm wouldn't work half the time)
Recently got a Garmin Forerunner 265 and wouldn't look back, easier track workouts, steps, runs, pacing etc. and I like the Garmin connect thing where you can collect badges for doing activities but that's just the child in me.
If it's just for GAA WHOOP would probably do the job, you wouldn't know you where wearing it - Need to charge it every 3 days.

Quote from: Cunny Funt on May 25, 2025, 06:15:53 PMPure muck is 100% correct. I watched that game and it wasn't pleasant from start to finish. Really utd should have scored 7 or 8.Quote from: J70 on May 25, 2025, 06:06:24 PMWere Villa robbed?
Red correct call. Debatable call to disallow the Villa goal and then went on to concede two goals after it, the 2-0 win didn't flatter United. To quote lurganblue Villa was "pure muck" and got what they deserved for that performance today.
Quote from: Feckitt on May 23, 2025, 01:22:48 PMIt looks like NI Sports minister Gordon Lyons is set for the Armagh Derry match in the Athletic Grounds on Saturday night. He has effectively been shamed into this. If he really had any interest in attending a GAA match it would have happened before now. If he insists on not taking his seat until after the National Anthem should he just be told to f**k off back home??
Quote from: Rufus T Firefly on May 21, 2025, 10:50:46 AMQuote from: Mourne Rover on May 05, 2025, 10:37:20 PMWe need a goalkeeper, a left back, a central midfielder, a no 10 and a striker, as well as possibly a central defender and a winger, preferably without loans which have seldom worked in the past.
The rumour mill is already in full swing as regards recruitment for next season, with many of the positions you have outlined MR, being discussed. Lot of talk about a £40 million swoop for Caoimhin Kelleher and Tsimikas to fill the keeper and left back positions. Getting Kelleher though might be difficult, due to the competition, as already talk of Villa coming in for him in anticipation of Martinez leaving. Aaron Ramsdale also being linked. Firpo has been offered a new contract, but nothing signed yet, with Real Betis sniffing around.
A range of forwards being mentioned. Solomon is likely to be signed on a permanent deal and strikers mentioned include Vladyslav Vanat of Dynamo Kiev (who I'd never heard of, up until yesterday!).
49ers Enterprises have also raised a further £120 million through a share issue, with the money to be spent on both stadium redevelopment and transfers. It is reckoned that the transfer kitty will now be north of £150 million, which is likely to be needed if we are to have any chance of surviving.

The staging of that contest in Israel next year would have been fun.More funny with the song called "What The Hell Just Happened?"
Funny the UK getting zero points from the public again as well as Switzerland. I think Estonia won the popular vote.
Quote from: Armagh18 on May 20, 2025, 09:40:24 AMCunha deal done apparently.

Would be strange to think no action taken after a player getting punched by 3-4 opposition players.Brolly has it sorted.
You would have thought it would have been completed by now given both teams are playing this weekend.
Just fine the 2 county boards substantially.
