She will face a "trial of facts" according to Amanda Ferguson reporting from Newry Courthouse.

I don't know what that is but as long as justice is done.

Quote from: J70 on May 20, 2026, 01:51:14 PMWas listening to one of the Irish Independent podcasts and they said the Hill Dickinson was almost empty when Seamus Coleman came out with his family for his farewell.

Can't believe the fans wouldn't want to show their appreciation, so am assuming it was a f**k-up on the part of the club?

Maybe a bit biased given he's a fellow south Donegal man, class act and GAA enthusiast, but has there ever been a better value player?

Denis Irwin?
They paid a decent wedge at the time for Irwin, was far from a cheap buy.

Henrik Larsson is a better call.

Just shows how badly run Sligo Rovers were to let him walk for €60k with no add ons.

Sligo Rovers owed Everton a favour for letting Dixie Dean play for them, scoring 11 goals in 11 games.

I kid you not.

Quote from: Doyler1 on May 20, 2026, 11:55:35 AMEoin Ryan is away travelling.
Others opted out like Rory O'Connor, Conor McDonald, Cathal Dunbar and Charlie McGuckin.
AJ Redmond from Rathnure is definitely good enough too. Maybe even Paudie Foley should still be in there.

Some strong enough hurlers in that group, McDonald and Dunbar in particular.

Any reason Rossiter isn't getting buy in from these lads?

Quote from: Doyler1 on May 18, 2026, 11:17:18 AMThank God Wexford already have the win over Kildare in the bag. We're getting worse as the year goes on.
The sending off and injuries to Carley and Jippo put us in big trouble against Offaly. But really with the first half wind, Wexford needed to be further ahead.

Now we've a problem, because Galway need to beat us on the last day.
Unless we start getting certain players back wearing the jersey, next year the Joe McDonagh winners will have a great chance to put us down.

Who is missing?

Quote from: brokencrossbar1 on May 20, 2026, 08:54:53 AMCongratulations to the Gunners and well done to Mikel 'Tony Pulis in disguise' Arteta. Only manager apart from the great King Kenny to win win the title with their first managerial job (though it took Kenny a small bit shorter timeframe!)

It's there now for youse dominate for the next decade. You'll catch ourselves and United and become the most successful club in the country...

Hool on there, football only started in 1992 and Liverpool are way behind in the pecking order behind Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Manu.

Quote from: DaleCooper on May 19, 2026, 07:47:31 PMPolymarket has Ed Gallrein to unseat Thomas Massie who was targeted directly by the Zionist movement and the state of Israel.

They absolutely love to dish it out but boy can they not take it.

CBS news bought out as it was not sufficiently servile to Israel, Tik Tok the same.

Dont ya just love the "free market".

It's not the free market that's being undermined, it's US democracy and they're too blind to see it.

This Premier league will be remembered for long throws and rucks during corners.

Even the saviours of the glorious game, Liverpool reverted to this at the end and will get Joe Gomez another year of cameo appearances.

Arsenal were the most consistent team over the year and deserved the title on the strength of that alone.

It's up to the rest to improve.

Quote from: JollyGreenGiant on May 19, 2026, 02:18:22 PMReally hope Portugal don't go the distance. I can't help but feel the US would be delighted with Infantino and Trump presenting the World Cup to Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was a great supporter of the Palestinians, I wonder is that still the case!

QuotePortugal haven't a hope under Martinez

Deschamps  hasn't a notion either. Mbappe is a dick so hope  they don't win it

Spain I'd say are favourites

I'd  like to see  someone like Croatia win it

Is that deschamps that won a WC and got to another final?
He also choked  in a Euro final at home against a Ronaldo-less Portugal

And his team has been  awful in  a few tournaments as well. Last Euros I don't think  they scored from open play.

For me "a Ronaldo-less Portugal" is better than the one with him in it.

Just saying.

Kane won't get the service he needs to score the goals to get England anywhere serious in this competition, he isn't bad.

There will be a bolter from somewhere that hasn't shown much as yet, a Uruguay or a Belgium could get a good run and get a semi berth.

No point watching for the first few weeks, loads of shíte matches.
Aye, now maybe . But  that was  the Ronaldo of 10 years ago

Was that when he got injured in the semi-final and had to come off?

Pepe was still playing back then, so if it was I'll stick by my original point that when he went off and in the final Portugal were a better all-round team without him.
Ronaldo carried Portugal to that final. Got injured early in the final,  came off ,  and France still couldn't beat them

Eder scores the ET winner. A man who was  on loan at Swansea I believe. Never heard of again

I thought it was the semi-final he got injured in. I bow to your greater knowledge.

Will Ballycastle be able to maintain this league momentum or will they wilt when the others get their full compliments back?

Quote from: Armamike on May 19, 2026, 11:46:56 AMSlot is in a no win situation for this game whether he plays Salah or not.  Regardless of what Salah thinks, these posts show a selfish and nasty streak, with no regard for what's good for Liverpool.  He threw the dummy out with Klopp too, so maybe he should reflect on a pattern of behaviour.

Maybe Salah is reflecting the mood of most of the squad and knowing that he's leaving is in a position to do so.

If he's not one for tweeting much, then maybe he is doing it for the team.

Either way, it's not a good thing for Slot who will be glad to see the back of Salah, but Salah isn't the only one pissed at Slot, was Curtis Jones not also annoyed with some of his decisions?

Why are the companies who actually exported this dual use kit to Israel not named?
