Quote from: Jerome on November 13, 2025, 09:36:07 AMI'm sure when people get married they aren't planning their divorce. Things happen, when they put the plan forward they certainly thought they could sustain the numbers all year. I would say you will see a better return this year. I personally would rather have a seperate development league but this is what the county board has decided. User Square_ball typical of the TikTok generation wants everything instant or its no good.

you've had a stinker here Jerome. They played their reserves as junior started earlier and they struggled to field when the other two grades got going. They knew from the first few games they weren't going to sustain it

Quote from: Grace Murphy on October 14, 2025, 01:35:26 PMHere a stat for you Muckers

29 Clubs in Tyrone have won a championship since Carrickmore last one won:

Augher
Brackaville
Clonoe
Coalisland
Cookstown
Derrylaughan
Derrytresk
Dromore
Dungannon
Edendork
Errigal Ciaran
Eskra
Fintona
Galbally
Greencastle
Kildress
Kileeshil
Killyclogher
Killyman
Moortown
Moy
Newtownstewart
Omagh
Pomeroy
Rock
Stewartstown
Stewartstwon
Tattyreagh
Trillick

But alls not lost for the Semi as Loughmacrory haven't won one of any type of champo in 42 years.

Are lough not the youngest club in the county, fair play too them for coming so far in such a short space of time ?

Naomh Eoghan are the youngest club in the county I believe
Hardly... it's Newtownstewart with a few lads from disbanded Dregish on board.
Who on that naomh eoghan is actually from dregish, cant think of to many. Omagh have a decent few of the dregish boys with them
Think young taggart is a dregish man and also the mcanullas are out that direction also. Can't think of many on the Naomh Eoghan team from dregish possibly a few I may be wrong

mccaffrey as well.. as for Naomh Eoghan, youngest club in the county

Getting Cathal Donaghy a run at wing forward during the league should be high up on Malachy's agenda. Has all the attributes to push himself into that position ahead of Oguz and Ben McDonnell.
Ruairi McCullagh strikes me as our replacement for McCurry in the not too distant future - very similar players and always rack up big scores.
Joey Clarke another worth a call up - be a good option in the corner or at wing back.

That Tiktokers brother in corner back for lough is decent. Joey clarke a shoe in for a call up.

Would donaghey suit the half forward role at county level? Good player all the same.

Some conveyor belt coming through at youth. Tyrone must have the best youth coaches of anyone in the country to be constantly producing all ireland winners, its crazy to think of it

Would the clubs and schools not be responsible for most of the coaching of young lads,

Or maybe that is what you mean

Yes the schools have a massive part to play in it. The brothers and academy in dungannon always have great players but donaghmore, holy trinity and st ciarans also reaping benefits from their teams now to. Serious talent all round

Schools and clubs doing a great job. Odd seeing the school with the highest intake producing just one County player and a couple of minors over the last decade, namely Holy Cross in Strabane.

Quote from: Sean Og Patriots on September 24, 2025, 10:53:24 AMYes. Have said this before, Oisin O'K in nets with Morgan outfield.
Could have -
Morgan
Rafferty Hamsey Teague (Could also swap with Devlin)
Ohare McKernain Devlin
Kennedy Conn
Daly R.Canavan Morgan(With O'Kane nets) or possible - Paul Donaghy
D.Canavan Jordan Conroy

I know Morgan outfield was tried in friendlies before c'ship.

A lot more strength IMO.

Someone else share your starting 15 for nxt yr

O'kanes kickouts no where near what morgans are, o'hare not up to top county standard just yet but likely will come.

Trillick V Pomeroy - Trillick by 10
Errigal Ciaran V Omagh - this game could be level right up to the 3rd minute. After that errigal let the handbrake off
Edendork V Carrickmore - is mccurry in the boot this week protecting the foot? if so, edendork by 2
Donaghmore V Loughmacrory - sure to be the best game of the weekend. Would nearly hope for a draw just to watch it twice

All the good posters gone and a crowd kids/idiots running riot.

Dry your eyes. Biggin kildress up as if they had a chance of winning the championship and going to senior cause they have a few good footballers. Most boring team to watch.

Your ladies games are more exciting

Good potential for a few draws this weekend. Hopefully get a few in an acca and watch the following week in the maldives

Clonoe by 5 if they play the reserves. 25 otherwise

FYI: Our Reserves where the only team to beat their reserves this year.

They wont play the reserves if thats the case. Clonoe by 25
