Derry for Ulster 13/5
Galway for Sam 11/1

Been thinking about doing this Singles & Double bet for a while. Poor enough price for Derry I thought, but explained by easier passage to final.

Galway will win no Sam

Casement won't have started.

Kerry win the  All Ireland again. Not because they are  brilliant, but there's no  other great team about. Most are  in transition.

Trading a sequence of Dublin All-Irelands for a sequence of Kerry All-Irelands- Christ!!

Yep. Ah,  but the  order will be restored

At the minute Kerry in poke position but things can change in 6 months, if D Clifford got injured they might struggle.

Yeah if he's injured they'll go from hot favourites to probably behind Donegal/Tyrone.

Hard to know how Armagh will do, a lot of retirements/injuries to big players unfortunately.

Leinster is open this year - Meath, Louth, Dublin all with realistic chances.
In Ulster, as unpredictable as ever. Cavan/Antrim/Fermanagh are probably the only sides you'd rule out completely - anyone else could beat anyone on their day. Maybe a tad unfair to include Cavan in that bracket.
Munster - Kerry
Connacht - Galway/Mayo evens.

As for the AI series, difficult to judge with the new format. Could pave the way for a dark horse winner, but Kerry at the minute are ahead of the rest. Well ahead of Donegal, Galway, Armagh, Derry, Mayo, Cork, Meath, Galway, Tyrone anyway.
I think Galway have missed the boat, Armagh with a few retirees prob won't reach the pinnacle again with this side, Mayo/Cork/Donegal just not good enough imo. A couple of years ago Derry were in the conversation, remains to be be seen if they can get back to that level with new management and filtering through some of the minor AI winners and injured players, but after last year they are are impossible to gauge.
Tyrone just dont have enough imo either - too reliant on the old guard, too soon for the u20 AI winners to step up.

I think Meath could have a big year - wouldn't surprise me if they push on from last year.

All Ireland Quarter finalists anything else would be a bonus for Armagh in transition.  What has Tyrone done for you to rank them as highly? Some good young players coming through however most if not all of those lads will need a few years to establish themselves at senior level.

What I'm expecting

Ulster - Donegal again
Connacht - Galway again
Leinster - Dublin two in a row for Ger Brennan
Munster - Kerry again

All-Ireland - Kerry again

Not sure if it's that I rank Tyrone highly or if theres not really much else out there outside Kerry. If Armagh aren't to win it then would be great to see Galway finally get over the line. Based on last year Donegal, Tyrone, Dublin, Armagh, Galway all in the pack with Kerry out in front, although things can change.

Split Kerry in two now.

Tyrone - but not sure
Kerry
Dublin
Galway

Kerry for Sam.

Galway can't get Comer and Walsh firing at the same time, but that could tip the odds.

From Kildaregaa.forumotion.com point if view Leinster is more open but I think Louth will go back while Meath and Dubs will get better.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

I think Galway have as much talent as any county in Ireland, they've had a fair bit of bad luck, I'd write last year off as a hangover from the AIF defeat to Armagh. Big year coming, can feel it in my water.

I know the media worship at the altar of Kerry but I think they played on a wave of bitterness/revenge/f**k you motivation in 2025 that won't be easy to replicate in 2026, still insanely talented but definitely not shoo ins.

Tyrone have the most talent in Ireland, harnassing the blend is the big issue, will always be there or thereabouts but dont see them winning Sam.

I honestly think there'll be a fall off from Donegal, they dont have the forward power and there's way too many eggs in the ageing Murphy basket. I don't see them pushing for Sam.

Armagh unfortunately in the same boat, not sure what would constitute a successful season for us. Ulster SFC passage looks a nightmare, should really target the League - but we won't. Must be due a bit of luck with the AI series groups/ knockout draw.

Truthsayer

I can't see past Kerry. The new rules, while they have saved the game, suit the best footballers and they have them. Forwards getting a bit of room now. If Kerry have the appetite it's theirs.. big Donaghy in the management set-up also a huge bonus.

Ethan Tremblay

An open AI again.  As expected, Kerry on a good day will be hard to look past.  Motivation may not be the same and would be the only thing clipping them in the AI knockout series.

Donegal and Armagh are on a tipping point at the minute.  Could continue their good run over the past few seasons, or slip back down the pecking order.

For Tyrone, with MOR going into his second season you would expect them to push on.  Fully expect them to win the league, and gain momentum going into the championship.  Could be dark horses for an AI.
I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack...
