I know it was "only the league" but you only have to look at the post-game expressions/reactions of Cooper and Sheehan to know that this wasn't a meaningless game either.

It was an easier road to the finals back in the 70's too.  Ulster teams had yet to emerge as a serious force, and no back door meant that good teams like Cork or Offaly were out once they lost a single game.

This team is better than the 70's Dublin team without question; they've a few more AI's left in them before they're done too.

Suppose it's time to make wild predictions.
United will beat Leicester
Leicester & Everton draw
Leicester & Chelsea draw

Spurs will slip up too.
I think Leicester will beat Everton and possibly draw with United and get whatever result they require at Chelsea. Chelsea are King makers given they play both Spurs and Leicester.
If Leicester beat everton--or anyone else-- they win it all.  So Chelsea's king-maker role pretty unlikely after today's result.

Only way Chelsea's matches vs. top two make them kingmakers is  if Spurs win next two, and Leic. take less than 3 points from their next two.

What would be fun is if Leicester need a result against Chelsea to stop Spurs/Arsenal from winning the league.  Interesting to see how Chelsea players/fans would approach the game.

If the repubs were smart (the biggest 'if' in the history of ifdom) they'd get this over with as quickly as possible, accept the kind of moderate left-of-center candidate Obama would nominate, and concentrate on the election. But knowing them, they'll drag this out and continue with the self-destruct course they've been on for ages.  Either way, there is no positive outcome for them.

Sure there is.  Republicans control both houses.  All they need to do is drag everything out as long as they can, block everything, and have President Cruz appoint an evangelical, or Trump appoint a egomaniacal.

Seriously, what's the downside for Republicans here with obstructionism? Hilary appoints a moderate liberal?  How is that worse for them than Obama appointing his choice? At least this way, they have a shot at it being their candidate that does the appointing.

Frankly I"m worried about this.

Used it last year, and had the same problems with constant buffering.  What I ended up doing was to slide the blue progress bar back about 5-10 mins behind the action, and that usually worked.  Only problem then was that if it did then start to buffer again (which was relatively rare), you had to catch it quick or it would revert back to the live action, and you'd know what the score was in live time at that point.

Bought the season pass this at the wkend, more in hope that the problems would have been solved this year, but had constant problems with buffering again.  Last year they tried to tell me the problem was my end (even though other streaming services work fine for me).  This weekend I tried it on both my wifi and on my 4g phone network.  Problems the same on each, so it isn't my end.

Joining or being involved with the local GAA team is hardly hanging on for dear life, especially for someone who spends time on a GAA Board run from Ireland :)
thats not what I meant - sorry if it came across that way - theres a few heads in there who only have irish friends, sing irish songs eat irish food and drink irish beer

Where do they get the Irish food from? Do you mean Kerrs Pinks, back bacon, pork sausages and proper turnips?

We've a dedicated Irish grocery shop near us in Queens. Provincial papers, Weetabix/Flahavan's porridge, bacon, sausages, toiletries, batch loaves, etc. etc. even Donegal Catch!  :P They'll have shelves packed with all the Easter Eggs from home shortly.

And most of the regular supermarkets and convenience stores in the area carry a small range of Irish stuff like Brennan's bread, biscuits, sauces, tins of beans/peas, Miwadi/Robinsons, crisps, Mars bars etc. Although the conveniece stores should be treated with extreme caution - even their American stuff can stay on the shelves a year or two past the sell-by date! My American wife even gets Kerrygold butter at Costco!

61st St Deli or Butcher's Block?

You cant really compare reading via the Kindle app on a tablet to reading on the e-ink Kindle. Screen brightness and glare on the average tablet is not conducive to a heavy reading session.

Just adjust the brightness on the tablet, or change the background page colour to black or grey.

I still read physical books , but am coming to prefer the kindle/phone app.  It's very handy to find something you want to refer back to from earlier in the book (like a character that was introduced 100 pages ago that you'd forgotten about, who's suddenly reintroduced, or a twist that sends you back to reevaluate an earlier passage).  It's also really handy for looking up words you don't know.  No getting off your backside to get the dictionary off the shelf, just touch the word, and there's your definition.   There are 6 full bookcases in my house (and more at the office), so I'm also enjoying the fact that storage is handier.

Footnotes can be a bit of a pain though.  They're not always properly linked, and even if they are, it can be fussy to touch the right part of the screen to bring you back to the part of the text you were reading.

Food is fantastic in NYC.   All budgets, all ethnicities, just great.  Like a tour of the world within an hour of your gaff.

None of the rest have ever penned a decent tune.
Queen never penned a decent tune, are you well?

Grand, thanks.

Actually on second thoughts, Prince did write that Sinead O' Connor song.
