Have the newer iterations not improved battery life? That's usually how Apple operates

Quote from: SoloAndGo on November 13, 2025, 09:49:50 AMWhat managers are out there looking for roles? Hearing from a few clubs they're struggling to fill the posts.

I can imagine , most clubs in Antrim and Derry both seem to be wanting managers

Hard one to sort some clubs may need to look internally

It's whether (unfortunately) club players will accept an internal member to take the team..

Club players would need to take a serious look at themselves if they wouldn't accept a club member running their team.

It's overplayed, that's just the line you get from fellas that are going about the place getting paid or the clubs doing the paying.

Could they not get the Newbridge manager some club gear ?

I actually can't think of the last pitch I was at that didn't have catching nets, even the smallest clubs and setups about have them - never mind the county ground ffs

Quote from: NGBlue on November 04, 2025, 08:02:50 PMId imagine Barry Burns will take the St Paul's job and leave Antrim, Terry will stay and continue to build, Paddy Nugent is in with St John's, Hugo is the fergie of rossa he'll stay, Mcshane will have another roll of the dice with the paddies and I've heard the hotdog man is back at ods 😂 that's the west of the city covered!

Hearing new Antrim manager Doran has put his name forward for club jobs in other counties. Surely Antrim won't allow that?

It's his full time occupation isn't it?

Antrim won't be able to stop him or they'll have to come out and say he's contracted / paid

Well, he could? If he thinks Antrim will be out early enough and crack on with the clubs to prepare for Championship! What club?

Antrim U20 manager is taking TNN in 2026.

Niall Jackman?

Toal

That's the same scenario there was the year before with Jackman

Antrim U20 coach and TNN coach.

And then he continued on for 2025 when Toal took over to u20s.

Do TNN not have any of their own men to take teams?  They also have had Ollie Bellew of St Galls, another hired gun, taking their hurlers last few years.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on November 02, 2025, 07:05:48 PMMaybe if  ;D we have just a 5 Antrim team league it would improved the teams in Intermediate....

I'm joking, taking hand outta someone

Derry do what they do but that doesn't always convert even in Ulster never mind further on..

Had been an easy enough hunting ground for Antrim clubs at the start of the competition but counties have caught on and arrange a 'fairer' 😉 way for their best teams to compete

As for Glenariffe, one of the better Antrim intermediate teams for a while, Carey won last year so you'd expect them to come through..
Fair point. Glenariffe won't be underestimating anyone as we've seen over the last few years this isn't an Antrim-dominated championship and good teams can appear from anywhere.

Glenariffe could do with trying to keep 15 men on the pitch for a start, seem to be down a man in nearly every game they play.

Really?  What other games had they a man sent off ?

Yeah was curious myself, no answer then ?

We probably need to have a discussion what qualifies you as "disabled" and if you need twice as much money as someone seeking work (on Universal Credit).

Health related welfare spending will be £100b a year by 2030 - 10 million working age people "disabled" in the UK.

Higher taxes will leave those on lower wages with a decision to make, will I continue to work or "go on the sick" and be as well or better off.

But their (Reeves and Starmer) own party won't allow them to.

They don't have the support of the left of the party who want endless spending, look how they got in when trying to tackle the welfare bill (and it was only footering round the edges).

Liatroim were strong down the middle but just probably didn't have enough outside of the McCrickards when it came to scoring power. They had an extra man for probably the guts of 45 minutes after the Glenariffe sending off.

Ruairi McCrickard very strong at 3.
