Quote from: imtommygunn on February 09, 2026, 12:45:03 PMThe crime was drunk driving, running over a pedestrian who has now life changing injuries , leaving the scene of the crime and then covering it up by the father pretending to be driving. I think it's a lot more serious than you are realising...

Its definitely more serious than any alleged crime.

Parent/baby or disabled spaces, I don't discriminate and use them both fairly.

Quote from: bennydorano on February 03, 2026, 05:16:04 PMThe final episode of the Night Manager nearly made up for how shite series 2 generally was.

Disagree completely. Thought it was telegraphed shite. Same twist as the first season, with the same line. Could see it coming a mile off.

The Roxana character is completely pointless. Terribly written.

Agreed. Really poor show.

Quote from: nrico2006 on January 30, 2026, 05:09:47 PMJust thinking about this topic when I heard the news yesterday - I assume Kavan Keenan isn't going to play for Antrim again?

I was wrong. Obviously hit and runs must not be a big enough deal to cause any kickback.

Quote from: maldini on February 01, 2026, 06:25:49 PMRemember that 5cm rule they made up a month ago to allow a Liverpool goal to stand v fulham

Same didn't apply for Fulham today at old Trafford

Benefit the big teams at all times, keep the viewing numbers on sky up

Didn't apply for any Premier League game apart from that Liverpool one. United certainly didn't benefit from it against City either.

Nearly as bad as this, where the woman was murdered by a gunshot wound to the head via shotgun and the culprit has the murder charge downgraded to manslaughter:

Quote from: nrico2006 on January 25, 2026, 02:27:21 PMFallout is terrible.

Night Manager not much better. For a BBC show, seems very amateurish and cringey.

Watched first season of fallout any thought it was ok. Is the second much the same or is it far worse?

I enjoyed the first season too. The second is just very poor - big drop in standards.

Quote from: imtommygunn on January 23, 2026, 12:25:49 PMit and everybody loves raymond. Not King of Queens though - it's brutal and Kevin James is not remotely funny.

I only started catching Everybody Loves Raymond in the mornings before work about 15 years ago, funniest show ever.

I enjoyed Sinners but it's a reflection of how shit movies are these days that it got so many nominations.

Surprised DiCaprio got nominated too. Just a standard performance from him. I haven't saw any of the films up for Best Actress so can't comment on that.

No excuses for City when they have 50 million back up players in every position.

Quote from: maldini on January 13, 2026, 09:35:57 PMAs I said last Sunday about the Wirtz goal, they've picked and chosen when to use this 5cm rule
In fact it was actually unheard of before last Sunday
Did they just make it up to cover up a mistake?
Haaland was millimeters off if even after the VAR checks it with a magnifying glass for seven minutes

Why no 5cm rule here?

The games finished

Probably different rules, regarding the 5cm thing, for the PL and Cup.
